Plot
Tracy arrives on Wendy's doorstep asking to stay the night and Ken and Wendy agree. Kevin gives Des his winnings. Emily asks Ken to return Tracy to No.1, as per Deirdre's wishes. She is shocked when he turns up alone and tells her that he won't force Tracy to come, and as her father he has the final say when Deirdre is away. Steph is surprised that Sally doesn't mind being dependent on Kevin. Deirdre is furious when Emily phones to tell her what's happened and immediately calls Ken to demand he takes Tracy home. He says she's already asleep. The Barneses have a good night out with the Websters and Steph thinks Kevin is nice. Deirdre breaks off her trip to return to Weatherfield, catching a lift from a colleague in the morning. Mark reckons that Steph is faster than her hubby's car. Percy is discharged early from hospital and Emily is alarmed to find he might need personal chores doing. Mike is cheered up when he hears about Don's legal troubles. Deirdre arrives at Wendy's house to take Tracy home, but she refuses to leave and Deirdre goes away alone.
