Plot[]

Derek thinks Victor is only offering him a job to gloat about his success. Mike offers Ivy more work. Ivy says she's not interested. The builders finish at numbers 4, 6 and 8. Alf is impressed by the new houses and considers buying one, thinking Audrey will be thrilled. Liz admits to Jim that she isn't keen on Johnny Johnson staying as he's army. Ivy wonders if she should swallow her pride and work for Mike. Don encourages her to form a workers' cooperative, undercutting Mike. Ivy isn't sure as she doesn't know anything about business. Audrey refuses to let Alf buy one of the new houses - she wants to move away from the street. Ivy and Don tell Emily about the cooperative and ask her to help with the financial side. Emily is excited by the idea and tells them how to get in touch with Peter Ingram. Derek agrees to see Victor after a hard day at the job centre. Marge Butler and Josie Phillips join the cooperative. Johnny Johnson arrives at No.11. Ingram gives the cooperative the order when they offer £1.35. He's impressed by their initiative. Ivy is worried about Mike's reaction, while Don looks forward to seeing the smile wiped off his face. Johnny tells Jim he's going after the recruitment job. Jim doesn't let on that he's also after it.
