Tina tells Bet that Jack keeps short-changing the customers. Percy plays gooseberry to Emily and Arthur. Martin offers to move in with Jenny for support but she declines. Alan phones Jenny and asks her to meet him at Gatley station with his passport. She begs him to tell her why he did it.
