Deirdre refuses to let her nasty experience put her off helping others. Mike, Don, [[Jack Duckworth|Jack]] and [[Alan Bradley|Alan]] play cards. Alan and Jack step out of the game when big money is laid down as stakes. Mike raises the stakes too high. To get the £1,000 he needs to see Mike's cards, Don throws in the keys to his taxi.
