Plot[]
Bet takes over the Rovers and moves her stuff from the corner shop flat to the pub. She doesn't think much of Gloria. Ida gets an anonymous letter telling her that Henry Wakefield is a strike-breaker. Bet feels that Gloria is no use behind the bar. Ida tells Ivy that Henry is a blackleg. She wants to take it further and contacts the union. David Millward turns nasty when he learns that Mike was in London with Christine; he thought she was on her own. He drags her away from Mike.
