- First appearance of Ron Mather.

It then travelled down Lower Mosley Street, past the old Central Station which had then been closed for nine years and in 1978 was a car park. Turning past The Briton's Protection pub into Great Bridgewater Street it makes its way down Chepstow Street, past Canada House. The route actually takes the taxi almost back to the point where it began its journey!
- TV Times synopsis: Bet pulls out all the stops to make sure her picture gets on the cover of the new brewery magazine…but Annie has other ideas. Ken's son Peter arrives - and even he has problems.
