Plot[]
Gail is upset that Suzie conquered Steve. Fred worries about picking Annie up from the airport without a car. Hilda is thrilled to get a letter from her old flame, GI Ralph Curtis. He wants to meet up with her again. She doesn't tell Stan. Annie has met a Mrs Forrester from Bramhall on the plane back and offered her a lift home by her chauffeur, "Frederick". She is therefore furious when Fred collects her from the airport in Len's van and tells her that the Rover has been stolen. Mrs Forrester takes a taxi. Suzie is annoyed when Steve bosses her around at work. Hilda doesn't know if she can get in contact with Ralph or not.
