Plot[]
Ena reminds Concepta that Lucille needs a mother, as well as Christopher. Concepta doesn't take kindly to being lectured. Lucille rows with her when she refuses to go behind Harry's back and give her money for the pictures. Sam uses his night off to go to the pictures with Albert. Ena tells Swindley she couldn't get hold of a photo. Sheila finds a couple of lads for her and Doreen. Doreen is fed up with blind dates and their wandering hands. Lucille takes money out of her money box to go out. Annie is scared that she and Jack are harbouring a criminal. She worries that Sam has heard their conversation when a door closes behind them. Swindley chairs the inaugural meeting of the Progressive Property Owners and Small Traders Party (otherwise known as PPOP), formed to protect the interests of local shopkeepers. He tells Emily that the party is contemplating entering the Municipal elections. Annie learns that Ena didn't give Swindley the photograph. Sam has a reaction to Frank explaining to Sheila what an accessory to a crime is. Sam thanks the Walkers for everything they've done for him. Lucille doesn't answer Concepta when she asks where she's been. Harry belts her for spending her savings and lying about where she got the money. Lucille moans that it's always about Christopher. Albert misses Sam at the Rovers. Jack discovers Sam has packed his bags and sneaked off.
