Plot[]
Whilst Jacko is stranded in the middle of nowhere with a drunk, Franny burgles and then wrecks Benny Lewis's flat to make it look like an unplanned job. Soon afterwards, a despondent Benny returns from Spain to find the damage. The residents hang around the Rovers after closing time as they're curious to meet Sean Regan. At Len's suggestion, they give him an after-hours welcome after he arrives from Liverpool. Benny realises nearly £5,000 has been stolen. In his time of need, he calls on Rita before informing the police. Elsie rows with Alan over his night out when he staggers home in the small hours. Lucille thinks Concepta is buying Sean with Harry's garage, resentful because of the work he put in to make a go of it. Norma catches Jacko with the £30 - he tells her that he won it in a card game. She doesn't believe him. The investigating policeman tells Benny it's an inside job because someone used a key to turn the alarm off.
