Plot[]
Part One: Toyah takes delivery of a birthday cake for a special Bailey/Webster meal that Debbie has booked for Ronnie at the bistro. The doctor wants to keep in Asha for a few more days to monitor her progress. At the meal, Carl finds himself awkwardly sat between Abi and James. Trisha calls at Street Cars to see Tim. Debbie isn't happy that Abi is at the meal. The conversation is awkward when Ronnie asks Carl if he left any broken-hearted women behind in Germany, with James especially wanting to hear the answer. Brian joins Tim and Trisha's conversation as they reminisce over old times. Sally’s taken aback to find Trisha there when she comes in and is quick to explain that she’s Tim’s wife. When Alfie knocks over his drink, Abi goes to mop it up and Carl helps. Noting their intimacy, Debbie flips. With Trisha gone, Sally fumes, pointing out to her husband that not only did he miss their anniversary meal, but she then finds him with an old girlfriend. Abi snipes to Debbie that she thinks she's good enough for Kevin but not good enough for her other brother.
Part Two: The meal continues. Debbie gets Kevin on his own and advises him to hire a lawyer as Abi isn’t to be trusted. Unable to hear them, Abi thinks the worst and sends a panicky text to Carl warning him that Kevin knows, however she’s horrified to realise she sent the text to Kevin by mistake. She tells Carl to get hold of the phone. Packing an overnight bag for Asha, Dev confides in Bernie that he can’t help feeling angry with his daughter. Carl manages to delete the text from the phone. Bernie lets slip to Asha that her father is angry with her. Kevin sees the text also on a tablet that Alfie has been playing with. He explodes in anger.
Part Three: Kevin punches Carl. Having a drink in the Rovers, Tim admits to a shocked Brian that he lost his virginity to Trisha when he was 14 and she was 20. Dev is angry with Bernie for what she said to Asha and says not to visit her again. With a threat of another fight breaking out, Kevin is thrown out of the bistro. The Baileys condemn Carl for sleeping with his brother's wife, with James quietly angry that he's been two-timed. Brian is appalled that Tim was taken advantage of but Tim thinks they did nothing wrong. Carl admits to a hurt James that he thinks he wants to be with Abi. Back at No.13, Abi is truthful with Kevin about what has happened and admits that she still loves him. He thinks there's still a chance for them and says that he's not been supportive enough with her recent traumas. She refuses to let him blame himself but insists she's leaving him for Carl.
Part Four: Kevin warns her that Carl is a player who jumps from one woman to another, but she won't listen. Jack interrupts them, wanting to know what's going on. Kevin forces Abi to tell him the truth. Trisha bumps into Tim at Speed Daal. They agree to meet up again, but just as mates. Jack yells at Abi that he never wants to see her again and Kevin tells her to leave the house. Carl isn't happy to receive a text from Abi saying that she and Alfie are on their way to stay with him. Sally questions Tim about Trisha but he plays down their history and laughs her out of her sulk. Going back to the hospital, Dev tells Asha that he was angry with himself more than her. She promises not to shut him out again and plans to quit being a paramedic. Trisha texts Tim, who hides it from Sally. Abi tells Carl she's given up everything for him while Debbie tries to console her brother. She denies knowing anything about the affair before.
