Plot[]

Part One: Dev and Bernie spend their wedding night at the Chariot Square. Sally tries talking over old times to perk Kevin up but he's too busy licking his wounds. Tim is reunited with an old friend from the 1980s when he picks up Trisha Marlow at Freshco. They're happy to see each other again. Asha is odd with the customers in the shop and downs a bottle of wine when she's alone. The Metcalfes celebrate their wedding anniversary. Sally tells Tim that Kevin is down in the dumps. Todd can't concentrate on his job with Theo still missing. Tim rallies the troops, starting a drinking session with Kevin, Tyrone, Steve and Kirk at the Rovers. Steve encourages Kevin to see the good in being single. Asha instructs Brody to mind the shop as she heads out with her bottle.

Part Two: Theo finds Asha passed out on the bench in Victoria Gardens, the empty bottle by her side. He alerts Amy, who calls Dev. Dev rushes to his daughter's side and is incredulous when the paramedics ask about any drugs she might have taken. A glammed-up Trisha goes to the Rovers in the hope of seeing Tim. The men are intrigued when Tim goes off with her. Todd finds Theo at Victoria Gardens but his boyfriend skulks off again when he's called out over his disappearing act. Brody swears to Dev that he didn't give Asha drugs. Sienna reveals that Asha had some empty pill bottles on her. Amy's upset by the fact that Asha could have died if Theo hadn't been so quick. Todd's surprised to learn that his boyfriend had a hand in saving her. Dev can't accept that Asha was trying to end her own life and keeps telling himself that she didn't know what she was doing.

Part Three: Bernie suggests to Dev that Asha felt she couldn't open up to him. Todd and Theo agree to spend some time alone together. As Asha regains consciousness, Dev tells his daughter that whatever's wrong, they'll fix it. Tim gives Trisha his number before rejoining the drinkers. As he admits that they had a fling in the distant past, Kevin has a pop at him for chatting Trisha up rather than spending his anniversary with Sally and the pair argue. Their problems are put into perspective when Gemma tells them that Asha nearly died. At the shop flat, Todd wants to talk but Theo goes for a lie down by himself. Asha confesses to Dev that her job and all the death she's seen is making her feel more and more hollow and she just wanted it all to stop. She tells him that it wasn't an accident and she meant to kill herself.

Part Four: Asha apologises for not being stronger. Dev's heart breaks for his daughter. She tells him she's glad now the pills didn't work. Reflecting on her situation, the men open up and admit that they all have their own set of worries and in future they should share them rather than bottling them up. Dev puts on a front when Aadi phones as Asha doesn't want him to know. Asha is seen by a psychologist. She says she still feels just as wretched as before. Tim arrives home to find that Sally has laid on a romantic meal, but it's stone cold. He's upfront about running into his ex, but Sally's furious and tells him to sleep downstairs. Theo tells Todd he's seeing a therapist tomorrow. Dev breaks down when he gets home, distraught at almost losing his daughter.
