Plot[]

Part One: Ed insists the family sit down for a cheerful breakfast, but James is not in the mood to pretend that all is fine. In a tense atmosphere at No.13, Abi paints on a smile for Jack’s sake. Kevin lies to his son that everything is good. Theo suggests to Danielle that he has a meet-up with the kids in the afternoon. James gets a text asking if he's interested in a job offer. Lisa has another therapy session to attend. Carl tells Abi that it’s best if they keep their distance from now on. Gary suggests to Theo that he shows willing and asks Danielle to join in the family meal. Todd grits his teeth and attends the restorative justice session with Noah at the community centre. Noah prepares to lecture Todd from his Bible. Dee-Dee has to go into the solicitors for an urgent matter and James offers to look after Laila. He takes a call from his friend to say that he's interested in the job and has booked a flight.

Part Two: With the session over, Todd hurries out. Realising he forgot his jacket, he goes back to the centre in time to overhear Noah on the phone to Danielle. Todd’s shocked to realise they’re an item. Sam opens up to Toyah about his anxiety and recent panic attacks. Theo's bistro meal with his kids begins and Danielle joins them. James has packed his bags, and he cuddles Laila. The Silvertons' meal is going well when Todd arrives to reveal all about Danielle’s new boyfriend. Jack tells his Aunty Debbie that he's worried about his dad and Abi. Seeing Ed and Dee-Dee on Victoria Street, Billy mentions that he saw James getting into a taxi with his bags. As the row escalates in the bistro, Miles goes for Todd and is punched to the ground by his father.

Part Three: Theo insists it was an accident as Danielle and the kids leave. Rushing into a seemingly empty No.3 in a panic, Dee-Dee tells her father to ring the police. Michael walks in from putting washing up in the yard, Laila in his arms. Debbie berates Abi for dumping her brother. Michael tells Ed and Dee-Dee that James is taking up a job in the US. He is furious with them for thinking the worst of his brother. Lisa admits to Carla that she skipped her therapy and instead visited Becky’s grave for their upcoming anniversary. Abi breaks as Debbie harangues her and tells her that Kevin lied to her about his results. The Baileys are trying to contact the airport when James walks in, his flight delayed. Michael tells them how his father and sister suspected him. Debbie rages at Kevin in the street and tells him she's finished with him.

Part Four: Danielle orders Theo to stay away from the children from now on. Dee-Dee admits that she thinks she's more messed up than she thought as she apologises to James and asks to talk through their problems some more. Having been studying eco matters, Sam apologises to Lily, playing down his own problems as being small in comparison to what he's learned. Theo is angry at Todd for interfering in his family's affairs. DI Costello tells Lisa that the therapy sessions are non-negotiable. She rejects Carla's idea to speak to Logan herself about Becky's death. Kevin is despondent. Dee-Dee suggests that she and James co-parent Laila and that she moves back into No.3 to help try out the idea. He agrees. Theo tells Todd to sleep on the sofa, inviting him to kick him out if he objects.
