Plot[]

Part One: Summer and Nina retrace their footsteps and find the place where the incident took place, though there is no one there now. Bernie checks up on No.7, hoping that Brody’s behaviour didn’t ruin the party and insisting that he's not all bad. Kit tells Sarah that he’s definitely Brody’s dad. Maria masks her concerns from Liam that they haven't heard from Gary. Steve takes his divorce papers to Tracy. When he says he’s not doing anything for his birthday, she decides to do something for him. Brian tells Carla that he saw Aadi leading Lauren away from Underworld the previous evening. Debbie rings Kevin and lies that she’s staying at a Cheshire spa hotel to clear her head but she's actually at the charge desk of the police station. Aadi and Asha lie to Bernie that Lauren stayed over after getting drunk. Carla calls, wanting to chat about Lauren and the factory. Maria is too distracted to bicker with Lou at work. Lauren comes downstairs and interrupts Carla's interrogation of Aadi, before suddenly passing out.

Part Two: Lauren is treated at hospital with a broken rib, a ruptured spleen and internal bleeding. Carla refuses to leave her, noting Aadi's agitated state. Summer and Nina have given up their search. Carla fusses over Lauren, assuring her that Shona is looking after Frankie. She gently questions her why she was in Underworld and hears about her hallucination of Joel after only having a couple of drinks. Abi collects Debbie after being rung up by her. She drags out of her that she was arrested. Cassie spoils Steve with a birthday cake, but as she pulls him in for a kiss, Steve receives a text from Tracy telling him they need to discuss the divorce papers in the Rovers. Carla calls at No.7 where Aadi, Asha, Summer, Nina and Amy are gathered, demanding to know what happened at the party.

Part Three: Carla asks if anyone saw drugs being used but an oblivious Amy is indignant. Steve meets Tracy to find out he’s been duped into birthday drinks with no intentions of discussing their divorce. Remembering her own experience of being spiked with LSD, Carla asks Lisa to investigate. Debbie admits she was arrested for being drunk and disorderly and tells Abi that losing her faculties is her worst nightmare. Lauren agrees to take a drugs test. Kit observes Brody angrily rejecting Lou's attempt to talk to him. Lisa asks a reluctant Kit to investigate Lauren's case, pointing out that she could lose Frankie if social services get to hear about the matter. Unaware of Lou's involvement in their split, Maria confides in her that Gary is ignoring her calls. Bernie sees Brody drinking alone. He now sees why she's been taking an interest in him, but he refuses to go home. Amy asks Aadi where they stand with each other but are interrupted by Kit asking Aadi to come and make a statement.

Part Four: The charges against Debbie have been dropped after Abi has made her apologise. Abi agrees not to mention the incident to Carl or Kevin. Ronnie tells Kevin he's going to step up and support Debbie. Steve makes his excuses and leaves the pub. Aadi and Asha are taken aback when Bernie brings Brody to No.7, saying he's staying for a while and reveals that he's her grandson. Amy calls at No.1 to wish her dad a happy birthday and finds Cassie in a state of undress. Tracy also walks in and demands she leaves, but Steve insists they're now a couple. Maria assures a concerned Liam that Gary will be back. Aadi informs Nina and Summer that he told the police that he had no personal knowledge of there being drugs at the party. Summer agrees to back him up. Debbie refuses Kevin's offer of specialists and support groups, insisting that she's still capable. Nina tells Summer that they need to tell the police that they left someone to die, but Summer insists they keep quiet.
