Plot[]
Part One: Ed tells Roy that he's picking up someone from the station soon, but it's all a bit hush-hush. Amy packs a case for her and Steve to travel to Lake Windermere at the end of the day and join Ken on his break. Frankie needs yet another blood transfusion. Lauren tells Dee-Dee how grateful she is to her for going ahead with her pregnancy and giving the baby a chance of a normal life. Betsy is too scared to leave the flat while Rob is on the loose and Carla offers to take the day off and be with her. As Evelyn opens her birthday presents, she tells Fiz and Tyrone that she needs to help Cassie, not push her away. Daniel suggests to Daisy they do something to commemorate her baby as it might help her and Kit come to terms with their loss. Dee-Dee is delighted when Ed brings James to her flat on a surprise visit from London. In Carla's absence, Fiz and Izzy have to placate a dissatisfied customer at Underworld. Desperate for a fix, Cassie calls a dealer.
Part Two: James asks Dee-Dee if he can stay with her for a couple of nights. He is after a coaching job in the States. Dee-Dee gets an urgent text from Lauren and goes to the hospital. Carla is summoned to the factory to see the customer, leaving Betsy by herself. Daisy tells Kit her plans for a small memorial, but he seems disinterested. Evelyn has given Cassie money for a hotel room. Lauren reveals that they’ve found another donor for Frankie meaning he won’t have to wait until her baby is born. She apologises for making it sound as if she and her baby don't need Dee-Dee anymore and assures her that she's important to them. Betsy’s terrified when the door buzzer goes and rings Lisa in a panic. In the Rovers’ backyard, Daisy and Daniel light candles, place a small teddy and reflect on the loss of the baby. But when Mick blunders in from the ginnel with Lou and laughs, Daisy fumes. Insults are exchanged until Lou spots the shrine and realises what they've walked into. Daisy throws them out. Cassie meets the dealer in the precinct, but as he pulls out the drugs, Roy walks by and threatens to call the police when he sees them. The dealer tries to leave and shoves Cassie against a wall as she tries to get her money back.
Part Three: Roy insists on taking Cassie to a doctor. Lisa finds a crying Betsy crouched on the wall and assures her that the caller was only delivering a parcel. Dee-Dee tells Lauren that her own check-up earlier went well. Roy treats Evelyn to a birthday meal at the bistro. As he's unusually late arriving, she drags out of him that he was held up helping Cassie. Lisa is short-tempered with Carla for leaving Betsy alone. Carla sees that her own nerves are shredded and is sympathetic. Dee-Dee walks out of a family meal at Speed Daal, admitting that she doesn't feel well. Evelyn finds Cassie in No.9, stealing money from a purse. She demands to know what is going on with her.
Part Four: Roy has already told Evelyn everything. She doesn't believe Cassie's assurances that it won't happen again. Evelyn is shocked to find out how Tracy tempted her. James follows Dee-Dee home where she tells him that she feels she's lost the main purpose in having the baby. He tells her he's had confirmation that he's got the job in the US and there's a good reason for everything in the end. Daisy advises Kit to shed his own tears. Fiz and Tyrone have been told about Tracy's actions, but insist it changes nothing. Evelyn refuses to abandon her daughter and says she will choose her over all the Dobbs. Tyrone gives in and lets her stay with them, but under duress. James takes a call from Danny and tells them he's waiting for the right moment before talking to his family. News has got back to the Barlows about what Tracy did. Amy is appalled by her mother's actions and Ken rings Tracy to tell her to have moved out of No.1 by the time he gets back.
