Plot[]
Part One: Evelyn returns. Tracy tells Steve that she and Tommy have split up. Ken goes to the Lake Windermere to convalesce. Evelyn tells Tyrone and Fiz that Ken's let her know what Cassie did and she's there to sort her daughter out. Daisy's appalled to see Mick and Lou loved up in the cafe like nothing happened. David realises it's time to move on when Sarah grumbles about Lily's mess in the flat. Tracy's annoyed that she's the only one who wants Cassie to pay for what she did. Ed admits to Dee-Dee that he's worried she'll regret having her child adopted one day. David asks Audrey if she'll have the Platts at Grasmere Drive. She agrees to think about it. Tracy harangues Craig for not charging Cassie for poisoning Ken. He tells her it's a non-starter without Ken's co-operation.
Part Two: Daisy refuses to serve Mick at the Rovers until he apologises for yesterday. He calls her a nutjob and is seen off by Jenny. Debbie sees Tracy buying drugs from a dealer in the ginnel. Daisy chides Jenny for swooping in to save her when she had the situation under control. Jenny's upset that her stepdaughter is no closer to forgiving her but Rita assures her it'll come. Tracy invites Cassie into No.1 for soup and pie. Daisy tells Lou that Mick came onto her yesterday. Mick retorts that it was the other way around and, believing her husband, Lou goes for Daisy, calling her a homewrecker. Audrey confides in Rita that she's considering selling Grasmere Drive and paying to fix up No.8. Evelyn joins the pair at the bistro. Resigned to the fact that Ken will forgive Cassie, Tracy tempts her with a bag of dodgy old smack.
Part Three: Tracy lays it on, telling Cassie that she might as well get off her face as everyone despises her anyway. Cassie grabs the bag and leaves. Jenny stops Lou from climbing over the bar to get to Daisy. Lou drags Mick home when Jenny backs up her stepdaughter's version of events. Dee-Dee asks Bernie if she made the right decision giving Kit away. Bernie says she regrets it every day but knew she couldn't give him the care he needed. Audrey tells David that she's downsizing and giving him his inheritance early so that he can restore No.8. Daisy apologises to Jenny for behaving like a brat. Jenny encourages her to make things up with Daniel, telling her that love shouldn't be thrown away. Evelyn finds Cassie at Victoria Gardens and drags her round to No.9. She tells Tyrone that if Ken can forgive her he can, but Tyrone sticks to his guns and suggests she find another pensioner to take advantage of.
Part Four: Dee-Dee assures Ed that she knows she's doing the right thing with the adoption. Ed struggles knowing he won't be a part of his grandchild's life. Evelyn begs Cassie not to give up on Tyrone but Cassie says he's right to distrust her. She accuses her mum of only coming back because her pride was hurt. Evelyn gives her some money to tide her over until she sorts something out. Ed calls someone telling them to get here as soon as possible. Tracy tells Debbie that it wasn't what it looked like in the ginnel earlier. Debbie doesn't seem to remember it. Craig catches Cassie rooting through the bin for the smack. She makes out she's lost her tram ticket. Daisy calls on Daniel with a bottle of wine. She tells him that she was lying to herself and does love him. They kiss and make up. Tracy insists on moving back into No.1 to make sure Cassie doesn't worm her way back in. David's shocked when Audrey tells him that she'll be moving into the annex. Tyrone tells Evelyn that Cassie isn't his family anymore. Tracy hears Cassie on the phone trying to buy drugs as she beds down in her sleeping bag.
