Plot[]
Part One: David is discharged from hospital. Lisa breaks the news to Carla that a body has been found that might be Rob. Carla agrees to identify it. Daisy snaps at Dee-Dee when she offers her sympathy over the miscarriage, pointing out that she doesn't even want her child. Andy is arrested over the crash. He claims it was a drunken accident. Tracy appoints herself as Ken's new carer. Cassie's mate refuses to let her crash at his flat anymore. With nowhere else to go, she steals a bag of camping gear from the charity shop. Daisy tells Shona that she won't shop David to the police and wants to move on. Kit finds out that Andy was friends with David. He asks Daisy what she knows. Alya's annoyed when Leanne introduces a brunch menu at Speed Daal without consulting her. Kit confronts David at the salon.
Part Two: Kit makes out that Daisy's told him everything. David falls for the bluff and throws himself on Kit's mercy. Leanne discovers that Alya has ripped up the new menu. Mick chats Daisy up in the Rovers. She invites him through to the back in order to show Jenny that she doesn't need protecting. Tyrone sees Kit bundling David into his car and tells Shona. Tracy's unimpressed when Ken hands her a list of activities he wants to do, including an immersive art experience. Cassie looks for work at the Rovers. Jenny sends her packing. Tracy receives a visit from Tommy. Daisy gets fed up with Mick and tells him where to go. He turns nasty, accusing her of leading him on. Daniel arrives in the nick of time. Kit takes David to the police station. As the men goad each other about their trash families, Kit makes a decision and speeds off with David his prisoner.
Part Three: Kit takes David to an industrial estate. He roughs him up when David makes excuses for his actions and points out that he was hardly a proud father-to-be. Mick eventually leaves Daisy alone. Kit opens a lockup and drags David inside. It becomes clear that Kit is only trying to scare David as he asks if he thought he was being noble by abandoning his family. Tommy's been offered a coaching job in Southampton. Tracy refuses to live away from her family again and tells Tommy to choose between her and football. He picks the latter. She tells him where he can shove his football as an amused Cassie earwigs. Carla views the body, which turns out not to be Rob. Daniel tells Daisy that he still loves her and it's not too late to fix things. She says she doesn't feel the same way. Kit calls a truce with David. They apologise for messing up each other's lives.
Part Four: Steve pays for Cassie's butty at the cafe when her card is declined but makes it clear that it's a one-off. Shona frets about David's arrest and is relieved when Kit tells her they're quits. Leanne realises she went too far with the new menu and agrees not to force her ideas on Alya. Her decency impresses Sam. Tyrone is accosted by a desperate Cassie as he arrives home with the girls. He refuses to hear her out. Tracy smirks at her fall from grace. Jenny joins a dating app. Kit tells Lisa about a hold-up at a pharmacy in Liverpool. They think it's Rob. Cassie beds down in the Victoria Street ginnel. Max calls the Platts from Washburn Heath Prison and tells them he hasn't heard anything from Harvey. He resolves to keep his head down until he's served his sentence. They say goodbye to each other for now.
