Plot[]
Part One: At the hospital, Daniel makes Jenny hide the news from Shona about the loss of the baby, saying Daisy ought to know first. Carla insists on returning to Underworld for half a day. Julie has an appointment at a palliative care hospital. Eileen suggests they spend the day together, but Julie makes excuses, leaving her sister put out. David comes round. He's instantly worried about Max and is told that he is secure in isolation. Nick and Sarah tell David they know the accident was a set-up. Daniel's bank informs him that his money is in Daisy's account. Daisy also comes round and is told about the need for another ultrasound. Brian, Roy and Yasmeen prepare to visit Evelyn at her university. Remembering Geoff, Alya is unhappy to be working on defending an abuser in a coercive control case. Sally, Sean and Izzy welcome Carla back. She has a more awkward encounter with Bobby. Nick tells David his plan was stupid as the police would have investigated it. David insists Shona isn't told the truth.
Part Two: Yasmeen tells Roy that she has been inspired by a thriving Evelyn, and she’s applied for a job working for a modern slavery charity in London, but has doubts about moving. He encourages her to go. Daisy breaks down when she is told that she has lost the baby. Betsy draws Carla's attention to a news report on the radio about a sighting of Rob in the Brighton area. A ranting Alya tells Adam she's quit her job as Fabians wouldn't take her off the case, and now they've billed her for her training. Brody urges Dylan to stop skulking about the STC and get a job with him sorting the centre's parcel deliveries. Shona finds out from Audrey that Daisy stole Stephen's money. Carla returns home to find the door open and signs that someone has been in the flat. She rings Lisa. In Shona's presence, Kit questions David, saying they have identified Andy from CCTV footage. He doesn't believe David's answer that he doesn't know him well. Once he's gone, Shona pushes David into admitting that the whole set-up was his idea.
Part Three: David confesses his motives to his shocked wife. Carla's flat has been robbed, and she suspects Rob. Shona is furious at David and is determined to get Harvey's money back somehow. Carla confronts Bobby, demanding to be told what he knows. Adam pushes back on Alya's idea that she works with him, saying it would spoil their relationship. She is put out. Jenny breaks the news to Kit about the loss of the baby. Julie claims she's tired when Eileen suggests a meal at Speed Daal. Putting on a show of friendship, Brody offers to get contraband for Dylan. Although Daniel tries to block her way, Shona bursts into Daisy's room and begs her for £40,000. She then changes her stance and threatens them both over their part in running her over in Debbie's car three months ago unless they pay up.
Part Four: Shona rushes out of the room in shame when she finds out that Daisy has just lost her baby. Daisy texts her for her bank details, telling Daniel she's doing it so that Bertie's father isn't jailed and also that she is disgusted with all the lies and deceit that have happened. Eileen thinks Julie is deliberately trying to avoid her. Yasmeen tells Alya she's thinking of selling her shares in Speed Daal and about the move to London. Shona is stunned to get Daisy's text but doesn't tell David where the money is coming from. Scared of possible danger, Lisa doesn't want Betsy going to a friend's party. Alya is delighted for her gran. Betsy sneaks out and fails to spot a hooded figure following her. In front of Daniel, Daisy tells Kit he would have been a good father. She's upset when Daniel tells her they can good together again and accuses him of being relieved that her baby has gone.
