Plot[]
Part One: Lisa examines Rob as she puts his burner phone in an evidence bag. She informs a shocked Carla that her brother is dead. Abi suffers another flashback as she, Debbie and Jack wait for news of Kevin. Seeing how she's suffering, Debbie sends her home. Andy takes a call ordering him to continue working with David, despite his protests, just before the man himself turns up to explain why he bailed out on him. As Kit screeches up to the abandoned offices, Lisa warns Carla to tell him nothing and insists to Kit that their priority is to get Carla back to Ellingford Hospital. A reconciled Mick and Lou party in No.5 as Gemma and Chesney watch on. Mick remarks to Chesney that he recognises him from somewhere. Debbie and Jack are allowed to sit in with Kevin as he comes round. Debbie explains about Abi, who is sat outside the hospital in tears as her flashback about Mason's death continues. Alone at the bottom of the stairwell, Rob comes round.
Part Two: Andy tells David that he has another job coming up which will earn him £2,500. Back at the private hospital, Carla is examined. Betsy, Roy, Ryan and Bobby arrive. Mick tells Chesney that he remembers him from Weatherfield Market when he used to sell dog collars but once he and Lou have left the house it's clear that Mick really knows him as the man who put sugar in his van's tank. Lou isn't pleased that he plans to make their new friends suffer. Abi spots a gurney near the hospital entrance with Seb on it. She breaks down and a passing Asha comes to her aid. In the ginnel, George confronts Mick over the loud music coming from his house. When Chesney steps in, Mick agrees to turn it down, making himself look reasonable. Carla is diagnosed with an infection and the risk of bodily rejection of the new kidney. David and Shona visit Max and reveal that they’ve applied for him to be moved to a prison in Scotland to ensure his safety. The police realise that Rob has disappeared in Lisa's car.
Part Three: Ryan puts all the blame for Carla's problems on Rob, upsetting Bobby. Max is bitter at the thought of going so far away, saying that David created the situation and he regrets trying to help him, saying he's not worth it. David is shocked. Debbie is alarmed that she's missed four calls from Abi. Betsy tells her mother that her job is too dangerous. Kit tells Lisa she needs to go with him to the station for a witness statement. Debbie finds Abi being looked after by Asha and takes her home. Lisa is shocked to be told in her interview that Rob isn't dead. Kit makes it clear that he thinks she knows more than she's telling. Driving Lisa's car, Rob hears a police alert for the vehicle. Despite his own pain, he pulls into an industrial site and abandons it.
Part Four: Carla responds well to the antibiotics. As she comes round, Bobby realises that his father really is to blame for her condition. The police find Mandy Waring's burner phone at the offices with a voicemail that Craig tells Kit he needs to listen to. Debbie tells Kevin that she's booked Abi in to see a therapist which she insists on paying for. Lou tells Mick to leave Chesney alone as she wants a fresh start with people who won't hate them. Mick wakes George up with a loud knock on his door and runs off. Lisa breaks the news to Carla that Rob is alive and on the run. Ryan apologises to Bobby for upsetting him. Bobby gets a text from Rob, saying he's desperate and needs his help.
