Plot[]

Part One: Steve feels sorry for Leanne and suggests she comes round to No.1 for a drink later. Ken announces that Cassie will be moving in and tells Steve and Amy to welcome her. A nervous Kevin goes for his ultrasound scan. Abi arranges to meet him at the hospital to show her support. Chesney goes to the police station to hear his fate. Abi takes Alfie to the playpark. She has another panic attack when she sees the spot where Mason died. Steve thinks Cassie will take over the house as she already has Ken wrapped round her finger. Amy goes to a 21st birthday party in Wilmslow. Abi imagines Seb in Mason's place. Overwhelmed by terror and guilt over her son's death, she sprints away.

Part Two: Kevin finds Debbie waiting for him after his scan. She's angry on his behalf that Abi didn't show but he makes excuses for his wife. He's told to expect the results in a couple of weeks. Amy sees Eric Sandford outside a nightclub. She's aghast to learn that Aaron is on his way there for his stag night and that he's soon to be a father. Eric tells her that Aaron's fiancée knows what happened between them and has forgiven him. He asks her not to make a scene. Amy's thrown into a panic and calls Steve to collect her. Evelyn visits from the university. She's suspicious of Cassie's motives for moving into No.1. Cassie insists it's just a well paid job that she loves. Chesney is let off with a caution but has to pay the van man £5,000 compensation. He tells Gemma the holiday's off. Steve and Leanne reminisce over a bottle of wine. Steve fails to notice his phone vibrating with messages from Amy. Kevin returns home to find Abi curled up on the sofa. As she apologises for missing his scan, he asks after Alfie and she's horrified to realise she's left him at the precinct. A passing Toyah and Nick see Abi's car abandoned with Alfie still inside.

Part Three: The Websters arrive at the precinct and find that Toyah has already called in Debbie. Debbie takes her sister-in-law to task for leaving Alfie on his own while Kevin again defends her. Steve comforts Leanne when she expresses her sadness over her separation from Sam. Leanne responds with a kiss and the couple head upstairs. Abi tells Kevin that she wasn't thinking straight because of his scan. She makes him swear that he trusts her to look after Alfie. Ronnie makes Debbie see that rowing with Abi won't accomplish anything. After having sex, Steve and Leanne head out to the Rovers for a friendly drink so that things aren't awkward between them. David tells Carla that No.8 is hers if she still wants it. She tells him it's a bad time. Realising that selling the house through an estate agent would take too long, David jokes to Shona that he should burn the house down and claim on the insurance. A social worker calls at No.13 to speak to Abi.

Part Four: Kevin takes responsibility for Abi leaving Alfie on his own, explaining that they're going through a hard time because of his possible cancer. Abi swears she hasn't touched drugs or alcohol but admits that she put Alfie in danger. Steve encourages Leanne to look at her split from Nick as the start of a new chapter in her life. He tells her that being cheated on doesn't mean she's owed something. Abi's told that no further action will be taken if her GP clears her. Chesney finds a caravan holiday that the Winter-Browns can still afford as an alternative to Alicante. Gemma's thrilled. David asks Andy Garland for a favour. Abi thinks Debbie reported her to social services and decides to have it out with her. Toyah, the true culprit, defends her actions to a wary Nick.
