Plot[]
Part One: Having spent the night with Ryan, Leanne realises she's going to be late for her court appearance. David gives Lily a stranger danger warning. Michael rushes into No.8 with David the dog wrapped in a blanket and explains that he found him at the side of the road, and it would seem he’s been hit by a car. Spying Leanne on Rosamund Street trying to obtain a taxi, Debbie deliberately drives through a huge puddle and soaks her. Bethany tells Sarah that she’s still going ahead with her move to London. Toyah insists on giving Leanne a lift to court. Daniel warns Ken not to be too trusting where Cassie’s concerned as Bertie saw her slipping something into his drink and swore him to secrecy. Ken thinks it all sounds vague. Lauren is delighted to be told that Frankie is responding well to the antibiotics. The dog is sedated and sent for a scan. Harvey sends David a text telling him that he's next.
Part Two: Kit fails to join Daisy for a prenatal appointment due to pressures of work. Having received a community order, Leanne heads out of court insisting to Toyah that she wants nothing more to do with her. Worried about the high vet bills, Shona and David look over their parlous finances. Ken confronts Cassie over Daniel’s allegation. She lies that Bertie saw her slipping a brandy into her own coffee, making out that she has something of a drink problem. Telling Leanne that she and Tommy are buying a posh apartment in Cheshire, Tracy points out to Leanne that Toyah not only stole her man, but her flat with all her things in it too. As Daniel, Bethany and Sarah carry Bethany’s things out of the builder’s yard flat, Sarah spots Daisy and lets rip at her for destroying Bethany’s relationship. Her daughter is embarrassed. Anthea turns up at the hospital, wanting to speak to Lauren. David asks Craig for any information on Logan's whereabouts. Craig forces David to admit that there is something else troubling him behind the query. A drunk Leanne is alone in Nick's flat. Finding a holiday booking, she puts his and Toyah's passports in the switched on toaster and walks out.
Part Three: Nick and Toyah return and find the documents on fire. They realise who's behind the arson. Shona steps in and prevents David from revealing anything to Craig about Harvey's cash. Anthea apologises for what Gus did and says she's stopping the custody case due to feelings of guilt. She hopes that one day Lauren can forgive her. Ken sympathises with Cassie over her fictional drink problem. David and Shona can't get any equity out of the house. David no longer feels safe there. Bethany tells Daisy that her mother was out of order. Daisy admits to her that she'll always love Daniel and apologises for making the announcement the way she did, telling her to give Daniel another chance as he truly loves her. Expressing doubts about Kit's commitment, Daisy is given food for thought when Bethany points out that Sarah raised her on her own without the help of a man. Nick confronts Leanne in the Rovers over the passports, in front of Ryan, Debbie and Michael. He makes her realise she went too far.
Part Four: David tells a put-out Lily that he doesn't want her going out on her own anymore. Ryan defends Leanne when Michael and Debbie criticise her actions. They all advise her to find a way to move on. Cassie cons Ken into funding some private therapy. Leanne calls on Nick and Toyah saying she's prepared to sell her share of the bistro. Max tells Lauren he'd like them to get their own place. They admit they love each other. David returns home with a hammer and baseball bat and tells a concerned Shona that until they can find the money for Harvey, they need to protect themselves. Leanne signs the paperwork for her bistro share, saying she wants nothing more to do with either Nick or Toyah. Daisy receives the result of the DNA test. She reads it but then deletes it and tells a stunned Jenny that the father of her baby is irrelevant and the result shall remain a secret.
