Plot[]
Part One: Daisy is taken aback when Bethany announces in the cafe that she and Daniel are moving to London. The barristers deliver their closing statements while Lauren is at the hospital with Frankie. Jenny prepares a lunchtime pub quiz to help boost the takings. Daisy accuses Daniel of being a coward by not coming clean before and also lying to Bethany now when he could be the father of her baby. They exchange bitter words. David’s surprised to bump into Andy Garland, his former fellow prisoner who insists they swap numbers. Bethany and Daniel join Adam, Alya and Sarah in the Rovers to break the news of their forthcoming departure. Daisy watches on with contempt. Bethany takes the opportunity to rile Daisy as, away from the others, she produces a leaflet on pregnancy that she found in her designer handbag. Leanne arrives in the bistro and helps herself to a bottle of wine, angering Nick. The quiz begins as Kit comes in. Cassie steals Ken’s credit card. Daisy’s stressed out by Kit and Daniel’s presence. When Bethany reveals that she and Daniel have set a wedding date for 29th August, Daisy sees red. She announces over the microphone that she is pregnant and either Kit or Daniel is the father.
Part Two: Bethany and Sarah are furious at Daniel’s deception. Kit tells Daisy he wants nothing to do with her. Bethany storms out and her mother follows to offer her comfort. The jury can't reach a unanimous verdict and now consider a majority one. Lauren starts to lose hope. From her bistro table, Leanne is amused to watch Debbie storm out after a row with Ronnie over him forgetting a night at the theatre and she joins him. Shona’s shaken when Lily hands over a piece of paper an unknown man in the precinct gave her to pass on to David. A drunk Leanne suggests to Ronnie that they have some fun. She’s taken aback to realise that Sam has come in and witnessed her behaviour. Jenny finds Daisy doubled up in pain and insists on taking her to hospital. The jury reaches a decision. Dee-Dee persuades Lauren to go to the court with her to hear it.
Part Three: Ronnie leaves the bistro, advising Leanne to carefully considers what she wants from life. The jury gives a not guilty verdict, and a crying Lauren is released. Gus is furious. Daisy worries that she has an ectopic pregnancy. Mary looks after the bar in the Rovers. Adam stops Daniel from going to the hospital and recommends he instead seeks out Bethany. Sarah tells her daughter that she’s better off without Daniel but Bethany’s worried that no other man will be interested in her because of her stoma. Lauren panics that Gus and Anthea will gain custody of Frankie, despite his attempt to bribe Brie. Shona hands David the note from Harvey demanding an extra £10,000 in interest. David’s worried to realise Harvey’s cronies knew who Lily was. Kit turns up at the hospital and apologises for not being supportive previously, admitting he was scared, but he’s now fully committed. Daisy invites him to stay for a scan she’s due to have. Debbie rips into Leanne for getting “handsy” with Ronnie. Sam is upset at the spectacle. As Max visits a delighted and relieved Lauren, Gus storms into the ward.
Part Four: Gus vows not to let Lauren bring his grandson up badly, but she stands her ground and makes it clear that Joel's character faults were all of his doing and throws him out. Cassie covertly replaces Ken’s credit card. The scan shows that the baby is fine. Kit is taken aback to see the images. David promises Shona to sort things out, but he nevertheless locks No.8's door securely. Leanne continues drinking, determined mark her last night before her sentencing tomorrow. Daisy, Kit and Jenny return to the Rovers. Daisy tells Daniel to talk to Bethany as he’ll be happier in London with her, but they are interrupted by Bethany herself who sees them together and throws her engagement ring to the floor.
