Plot[]

Part One: It's Bertie's sixth birthday. Bertie sees Cassie in No.1's kitchen with the antihistamine bottle. She lies that it's Ken's medicine and tells the boy it'll be their little secret. Kit calls Dylan in to the police station for more questions. Bobby's dismayed by Carla's refusal to consider Rob as a donor. He urges her to go and see him before ruling the option out. Abi continues to dwell on Mason's death. Daniel, Bethany, Ken, Amy, Daisy, Cassie and Kirk attend Bertie's birthday party at the Barlows'. Cassie picks up a toy bulldozer from The Kabin to buy Bertie's silence. Daisy makes out that she caught a bug from Sean to explain why she isn't drinking. Max tries to stay positive ahead of Lauren's trial but she's certain she'll go down as her case rests on the lie the that only hit Joel once. At the party, Daisy sees Bertie looking nervously at Cassie. The boy whispers to her that Cassie told him to keep a secret.

Part Two: Daisy takes Daniel aside to report what Bertie told her. Seeing them go off together, Cassie stirs things up by complimenting Bethany on how mature she is about Daniel being so close to his ex. A suspicious Bethany starts knocking back the prosecco. Kit reveals that Matty has been charged with Mason's murder and charges Dylan with possession of a bladed article. Bethany interrupts Daniel and Daisy on the stairs and makes catty comments towards Daisy. Kevin confides in Debbie that he found a lump on his testicles a couple of days ago. Bethany takes charge of the cake-cutting but with one eye on Daniel and Daisy, she makes a total hash of it. Daisy gets up to help and a tussle ensues, with Daisy tripping over the bulldozer and Bethany getting a gash on her thumb from the knife. Daniel takes Daisy to the hospital to have her ankle looked at. Abi has a go at Kit for drinking at the Rovers while Logan is still at large. Lauren finishes with Max, telling him to get on with his life and forget about her. He's despondent. Carla visits Rob at Highfield Prison. Kit runs into Daniel at the hospital while there on another matter. They check on Daisy together and overhear a nurse discussing her pregnancy with her.

Part Three: Daisy's taken in for an x-ray while Kit and Daniel reel from the revelation. Carla tells Rob that she isn't taking up his offer as she doesn't trust him. He explains that he found God when he was in a dark place and wants to prove he isn't the man who killed Tina anymore. Kevin admits to Debbie that he hasn't told Abi about the lump as she's going through a lot at the moment. Cassie makes out to a hapless Kirk and Bobby that Daniel wants an open relationship with Bethany in order to see Daisy. Carla doesn't believe that Rob has changed. He asks her to consider what would happen to Bobby if she died. Daisy is discharged from hospital with a sprained ankle. She tells Kit he's the father. Abi sits in Seb's memorial garden, reliving her memories of her late son. Daisy tells Daniel that as far as everyone's concerned, her baby is Kit's, so Bethany doesn't need to know that they slept together. Cassie catches the pair together in the ginnel.

Part Four: Kit worries that a baby would harm his career prospects. One of the other mothers, Brie Benson, introduces herself to Lauren. Lauren thinks she has an agenda and tells her to get lost. Cassie establishes that Sean didn't have a bug and therefore Daisy was lying. Lisa points out to Carla that even if Rob is up to something, it's worth the chance of getting his kidney. Debbie encourages Kevin to get his testicles checked out. Abi sees Seb as she thinks back to the last time she saw him before the attack. Alya confesses to Adam that she's thinking of jacking in her job as she doesn't like putting her career before her morals. Carla decides to let Rob get tested. Kit tells Daisy that while he'll support the child financially, he doesn't want to be involved in their upbringing. Cassie teases Daniel about his secret meetings with Daisy. He responds by asking what she put in Ken's tea. She lies that it was sweeteners before smugly revealing that she knows that Daisy's pregnant and he could be the father, suggesting that she'll keep his secret if he keeps hers.
