Plot[]
Part One: Out for his morning jog, Daniel sees Kit kissing a woman as he lets her out of his flat building. Frankie's further tests confirm that he has aplastic anaemia, and he definitely needs a donor. Gail announces that she’s arranged a pre-wedding pampering session at the salon for all of the women in the family. David tries to put Jesse off from going out to search for the wedding rings. In the factory, Kirk plugs in the Christmas lights and causes a power failure. Max offers to get hold of Dee-Dee and get her to cancel the termination, but Lauren insists that it has to be her decision. During the pampering session, Audrey has trouble hiding her annoyance about the wedding. A worried Toyah confides in Leanne and Amy that she’s hardly any money left in her account and she’s up to her limit on her credit card. Unable to get an electrician in, Carla has no choice but to give the staff the afternoon off. She agrees to spend time with Lisa instead. Dee-Dee pleads with Gus and Anthea to let Lauren keep Frankie, but they draw the obvious conclusion when she keeps having to rush to the toilet to be sick.
Part Two: The factory workers decamp to the Rovers, smuggling in their presents of booze from Carla. Daniel tells Daisy about seeing Kit with a woman. Although she insists they aren't officially together, she isn't pleased at the news. The Deerings approach Ed and Michael about Dee-Dee's pregnancy. Ed is staggered when it's obvious that Michael knows they're telling the truth. Continuing to set up her sister for a fall, Leanne tells Toyah and Amy that it would appear the wine company has overcharged them, and Amy agrees to check the accounts. Dee-Dee is taken aback when Ed appears with Michael at her flat, gently wanting to know everything. Daisy realises the factory staff have brought their own drink in and throws them out. Bobby invites Kirk and Fiz back to Carla's flat to carry on drinking. Betsy has stolen Sally's bottle of gin from Carla and knocks it back in the precinct in front of an amused Mason. She's suddenly sick. Ed offers Dee-Dee his support whatever she decides. In the flat, Lisa emerges in a dressing gown as Bobby, Kirk and Fiz enter. Realising what's going on, Fiz ushers Kirk and Bobby out. Jesse tracks down the original wedding rings to a shop in Balaclava Terrace and informs the police. David's forced to tell him the truth. Accompanied by Ed, Dee-Dee goes in for her termination.
Part Three: Jesse is livid when David tells him the full story, including his suspicions that Shona is having an affair. Jesse insists David pays him back. Mason asks Sally for help with a paralytic Betsy. Returning to the street, Dee-Dee tells the Deerings that she's had an abortion as she lays into them for interfering. Max overhears. Carla and Lisa take Betsy away from No.4. Mason is delighted as Sally invites him to stay for Christmas. Lauren's plea hearing is set for tomorrow. Frankie is discharged. She breaks down as Max tells her about Dee-Dee's abortion. Sally watches on in shock as Lisa and Carla kiss as they arrange a date together. Dee-Dee visits Lauren and tells her the truth that she didn't have the abortion.
Part Four: Dee-Dee offers to try and help Frankie with being a donor. Lauren cries in relief, determined to fight Gus and Anthea for custody every step of the way. Daisy flirts with Adam in front of Kit. The Platt women, without Gail, have gone on to the Rovers. Audrey doesn't like the talk about her daughter leaving for France. Sally delights in telling Fiz, Bobby and Kirk about Lisa and Carla. Bobby admits he's known for ages. Kit tells Daisy they should go exclusive with each other. She's pleased when he kisses her. Jesse asks David to be best man. David looks through Shona's shopping to search for clues as to what she's up to. He finds a bottle of aftershave which Shona snatches off him. Leanne transfers £300 from the bistro account to Toyah’s fake account. Dee-Dee tells Ed and Michael she's having the baby, but she is going to put it up for adoption.
