Plot[]
Part One: Lisa sits at Carla’s bedside after her successful operation. Matty is hauled in for questioning. Nick tells Toyah they should break their news to Leanne, then go on holiday to Tenerife, leaving her to process it. Toyah insists they wait until after Oliver’s memorial and Rowan's trial. Lauren is told that the board have reached a decision about Frankie. David, Shona and Max show Ruth Hawley over No.8 to enable her to assess if they can look after Frankie. She senses David isn't board with the plan. Carla comes round and finds out from Roy and Ryan that Lisa was there all night. Matty gives an alibi of being at a garage when the attack occurred. His solicitor's shadowing pupil is Alya Nazir, returned from Dublin, and she provides an email corroborating the alibi. Oliver's family gather to plant a tree in Victoria Gardens in his memory. Toyah feels guilty when Leanne brings along a yellow rose to go alongside it in memory of her daughter. Sam is also uncomfortable. Carla hears that Betsy found her and wonders how she got into the factory when she knows she'd locked herself within.
Part Two: Kit thinks Lisa is taking too emotional an interest in Carla's case. Waiting for a family meal at the bistro, Tracy sees that Sam looks subdued. After Leanne makes a remark about close families, Toyah tells Nick she can't betray her sister. Yasmeen’s thrilled to have Alya back a day earlier than planned. She unhappy when she finds out she's now a criminal lawyer. Roy guesses that there is something between Carla and Lisa and is happy for her. Lisa turns up to visit her. Lauren cries with happiness as Frankie is handed over to her. Carla can't get Lisa to make a declaration of her feelings for her. As Chesney gets out of his car, a van screeches past, almost knocking him off his feet. He’s shocked to see it’s the same van from the Freshco car park. Leanne sees the holiday booking on Nick’s laptop and asks him who he's taking there. Interviewed by Kit, the garage backs up the alibi. A smug Matty makes a dig about Becky’s death as he's released. Lisa’s furious, convinced he must have had something to do with it.
Part Three: To help his dad, Sam reluctantly lies to Leanne that Nick is taking him to Tenerife. Betsy finds a subdued Lisa alone with her thoughts and tells her she can talk to her. Max and Shona visit Lauren. Shona apologises for dropping her in it with the police, but the girl is cheered up by the news that they'll take Frankie in should she be sent down for murder. Thinking of Clayton, Shona is emotional when Lauren talks about being close to her son. Carla asks Ryan and Roy to help her investigate who had any spare keys to the factory. Joseph overhears as a shaken Chesney tells Bernie that he thinks the van driver is out for revenge. Toyah tells Leanne that she's moved out of her rented house and into the Chariot Square. She refuses Leanne's offer to move in with her. Toyah is forced to watch as Leanne hugs Nick, thanking him for supporting her at Oliver's memorial. Carla is puzzled when Ryan tells her he found a set of spare keys on her desk. Surprised when Betsy visits her, she tells her she suspects she knows something about her attack.
Part Four: Threatened with having the spare keys fingerprinted, Betsy confesses to all that's happened but claims she doesn't know Matty and Logan's names. She begs her not to tell Lisa, emotionally blackmailing her that her mother will suffer if she is sent down. David is unhappy about taking Frankie on, angering Shona who storms out. Joseph thinks he's seen the van passing No.5 again. Chesney tries to calm his fears. Lisa visits Carla, desperate to offload on her about Becky's death and the grief she still feels. Seeing how upset she is, Carla cannot bring herself to say anything about Betsy. Returning home, Shona’s annoyed by David’s unforgiving response when she admits how desperately she wants to see Clayton. Alya admits to Adam that she's has doubts whether her law firm is legitimate in its dealings. Steve mistakenly tells Leanne that he thinks Nick still has feelings for her. Nick thinks he and Toyah should tell Leanne the truth tomorrow. Lisa tells Betsy she has a suspect for the death of Becky and she's going to nail them.

- Gary Kane was credited as a stunt double but was actually the stunt arranger for the scene where the van driver almost hits Chesney Winter-Brown in the street in 11425. Steven Mullins was the stunt driver for the same scene.
