Plot[]
Part One: A hung-over Lisa is mortified when Carla fills her in on her antics the previous evening. Betsy is relieved to find Mason alive and well after sleeping rough. David brings Max home from prison, the murder charge dropped. Max is despondent about Lauren and doesn't know why she confessed. Shona suggests that Leanne do something special to mark Oliver's upcoming anniversary. Ryan's amused to find Lisa in the flat wearing Carla's dressing gown. He tells Carla it's obvious she fancies her and advises her to see where it goes. After witnessing Steve tearing a strip off Cassie for being a bad carer, Toyah informs him about Tracy dropping the pill tray. Carla surprises Lisa by kissing her passionately.
Part Two: The Barlows accuse Tracy of mixing up Ken's meds and using Cassie as a scapegoat. Helen Darbyshire informs Max that Lauren's applied to have Frankie with her in the mother and baby unit. Kit hauls the lad in for more questioning. Logan and Matty corner Betsy in the Victoria Street ginnel. Carla and Lisa have sex. Ken gives Cassie her job back with a pay rise. Max admits that he lied to the police to protect Lauren and is charged with perverting the course of justice. Kit reveals that Lauren was arrested after David handed in his letter. The brothers pressure Betsy to remind Mason where his loyalties lie. Betsy says she isn't Mason's girlfriend. Carla admits to Lisa that she's never been with a woman before. Lisa panics when she receives a text from Betsy saying she's in trouble.
Part Three: Lisa and Carla search for Betsy. Betsy gets help from a passing Ryan. He tells the brothers to do one and they leave. Leanne decides to have a memorial for Oliver at his tree. Lisa is relieved to find Betsy unharmed at the Rovers. Betsy makes out she doesn't know who the lads were but Ryan remembers one of them from the talk he gave at the STC last year. Betsy recognises her mum's top as one of Carla's and throws a drink over her, furious that she was getting into bed with someone on Becky's birthday. Steve apologises to Cassie for falsely accusing her. Reinstated once again, Cassie uses the internet to find drugs to make Ken drowsy. Lisa tells Betsy that what happened happened this morning, but her daughter is no more forgiving. Max is released on bail. He confronts David and Shona for dobbing Lauren in. David stands by his actions, refusing to let Max throw his life away to save Lauren's neck. Max insists it was his choice to do so. Betsy doesn't tell Mason about the threat from his brothers. Carla tells Lisa that she isn't going to tiptoe around Betsy. Lisa's annoyed by her coldness and leaves to be with her daughter.
Part Four: Nick's impatient for people to know about him and Toyah. Toyah insists that it'll have to wait until after the memorial now. Roy passes the phone to Max when Lauren calls the cafe. She encourages him to forgive his parents for getting her banged up and asks him to look after Frankie should her application to have him in prison with her be refused. Carla reaches out to Betsy, telling her that Lisa will always put her first but she needs some happiness for herself too. Betsy refuses to accept her as a replacement for Becky. Max tells David and Shona that Frankie will be moving in with them as they owe him after robbing him of his mum. Shona's open to the idea but David isn't. Betsy meets with Logan and Matty and offers them access to Underworld tomorrow while the staff are away on a team building day in exchange for them leaving Mason alone. They agree.
