Plot[]
Part One: Sarah goes to the passport office. Gail takes Harry in. The Dobbses celebrate Fiz's 40th birthday. Ruby reads her card out to her. Lisa informs Sean and Dylan that the charges against Mason have been dropped and he's being released today. She assures them that he's staying at his brother's and has no reason to visit the street. Bernie makes up flyers for the memorial rave. Gemma thinks she's getting ahead of herself as they haven't secured permission to close the street yet. Lauren monitors Joel's movements on the tracker app and notes that he spent considerable time in a field and an industrial park. She's shocked when he transfers £5,000 into her bank account. David goes to the Chariot Square and accuses Debbie of persuading Bethany to have cosmetic surgery. Adam calms the situation. Daniel can't get a straight answer from the doctors in Istanbul. He's only told that Bethany has a severe infection and can't be discharged for at least a week.
Part Two: Adam advises David that the medical company is more likely to blame. He advises him that they'll probably need a specialist lawyer if they decide to sue. Ryan agrees to DJ at the rave. Sarah arrives at the hospital. Gary vows to deal with Mason if he shows his face. Tyrone takes Fiz out for a birthday lunch at the bistro but they're interrupted by a call from the school. Mason approaches Dylan, Betsy and Liam and offers a truce. Ronnie advises Dee-Dee to keep her head down as Joel doesn't have to play the nice guy anymore. Gary pins Mason against a wall when he sees him. Stu pulls him off. Daniel discovers that Bethany didn't tell her travel insurance company about the surgery so her policy is invalid. He tells Sarah that she won't be able to leave the country until the hospital is paid.
Part Three: Stu faces a backlash for defending Mason. He points out that Mason hasn't done anything wrong this time. Lisa tells Dee-Dee that the assault case against Lauren is being dropped due to lack of evidence. Sarah tackles Daniel about the calls he ignored. She accuses him of being too busy drooling over his ex to help Bethany. Stu apologises to Mason for thinking the worst of him and gives him his job back at Speed Daal. Chesney worries that Bernie and Gemma will burn themselves out preparing for the rave. Lauren decides to use the money on Frankie but Dee-Dee asks her not to touch it yet as Joel could claim he sent it in error and ask for it back. Dee-Dee learns that Emily has also received £5,000 and wonders what Joel is up to. Hope is suspended from school for vaping. The girl tells her parents that Cassie knew about her vaping habit. Daniel refuses to tell Sarah what he and Daisy spoke about but Sarah figures it out. She's furious with him for delaying her getting to Bethany and accuses him of putting her in hospital by making her feel insecure about her body. Daniel denies the charge but Sarah refuses to let him see Bethany and orders him to go back to Weatherfield.
Part Four: Sarah finds out that Bethany's surgery cost £15k and she's also being charged £2k a day just for being there. Bethany begins to stir. Cassie tells Tyrone and Fiz that she suspected for ages that Hope was vaping and is surprised that they didn't. Stu tells Lisa that Gary assaulted Mason but Mason says it was nothing and he just wants to forget about it. She advises him to give Dylan and Liam a wide berth. Sarah breaks the news to Bethany that her cosmetic operation went awry and she's had a stoma fitted. Thinking she'll be up and running in a few days, Bethany takes it well and explains that she just fancied some pampering. David considers starting a crowdfunder for Bethany. Debbie warns him that people will say Bethany brought it on herself. Sarah informs her daughter that the stoma isn't for a few days, it's for the rest of her life. Bethany's in disbelief.
