Plot[]
Part One: Sarah's surprised that Ryan dumped Daisy and not the other way around. Dee-Dee gets a call from the jeweller about the wedding rings and tells them it's off. Sean lets Daniel know that his ex is back on the market. Bernie's brimming with ideas on how to make Paul's funeral more personal but Billy puts his foot down, adamant it'll be a traditional service. Daniel calls in at the Rovers to see how Daisy is. Nina gets Roy a ticket to a train fair in Manchester for his birthday. He looks in on Lauren first when he hears that Joel has been charged. Daniel kills a call from Turkey in order to focus on Daisy. Daisy makes out to him that her relationship with Ryan just fizzled out before admitting that it was because she was still in love with him.
Part Two: Daniel tells Daisy that he still cares about her but he's with Bethany now. After the conversation, he calls Bethany back but it goes to voicemail. Stu makes a police statement about Mason and the stolen purse. Dylan feels guilty knowing that Mason is innocent for once. Frankie is taken in for a CT scan to test for brain damage from the bleed on the brain. Roy comforts a worried Lauren. Gemma convinces Bernie to let Billy have the funeral his way, and they'll have their own send-off for Paul afterwards. Joel picks up the rings and declares to Dee-Dee that he still loves her. She tells him to throw them in the canal. Ed and Ronnie step in and see him off. Daniel takes a call from the Turkish number, but it isn't Bethany. Ed and Ronnie hatch a plan to make sure that Joel doesn't bother Dee-Dee again. Daniel finds out that Bethany is in intensive care in Istanbul and lets Sarah know. Dylan confesses to Sean that Betsy set Mason up. Daniel finds a flight to Istanbul leaving today but Sarah can't fly as she only has three months left on her passport.
Part Three: Daniel heads to the airport by himself. Sarah scrambles to order a new passport. She frets over being so far away from her daughter in her time of need. Ed confronts Joel at the precinct and orders him to stay away from Dee-Dee or else. He tries to goad Joel into hitting him so that Ronnie can capture it on his phone but Joel cottons on and doesn't rise to it. Ronnie manhandles Joel but is forced to back down when he cries out and draws a crowd. Sean makes Dylan confess to Lisa. Lisa's shocked to hear what her daughter's been up to and takes Dylan to the station to make a statement. Lauren lets Roy drone on about trains as it takes her mind off Frankie for a while. She insists that he leaves in time to make it to the fair. Dr Ralston tells Lauren that the bleed hasn't worsened and Frankie will remain under observation. Sean admits to Stu that Mason was telling the truth and that Dylan knew. Stu feels bad for assuming the worst of Mason. Sarah tells Carla she's taking time off. Daisy hears the conversation and realises what the calls earlier were about. Sarah's unimpressed to learn that Daniel ignored his phone to converse with his ex. Lisa tells Betsy that the lies have to stop or she won't be able to protect her. Daniel arrives in Istanbul.
Part Four: Bernie plans a rave-up the day after the funeral, and decides to get Kit to close the street for the event. Billy reluctantly gives his blessing. Dee-Dee finds Ed and Ronnie actily shiftily and gets the truth out of them. She's furious that they've put the case against Joel in jeopardy by assaulting him in front of witnesses. Ed promises that he'll make it right whatever happens. Roy buys a model train for Frankie at the fair. Lauren's touched when he presents it to her. Daniel reaches the hospital where the doctor explains that Bethany has sepsis from a liposuction operation gone wrong. Listening over the phone, Sarah is devastated.
