Plot[]
Part One: Dee-Dee visits Lauren at the neonatal unit and finds her in a panic as the tracker app shows Joel about to arrive. He alarms the women by telling them that he's applying for custody of Frankie, claiming that Lauren has shown herself to be an unfit mother by trying to abort him. Jack readies himself for his plea hearing. A sobbing Lauren lashes out at Dee-Dee, saying her action in causing Joel to lose access to Maeve made him decide for custody of Frankie. Paul’s delighted as Gemma and Joseph call at the flat with the quads ready for their first day at school. Reporting Joel’s latest threat to Lisa, Dee-Dee learns that Joel abruptly left a firm, Walcotts, who specialise in helping vulnerable young people. Bernie joins her family at the flat and Billy takes a photo of the clan. Toyah and Nick think Amy will never see her money. Stefan is livid to hear about Jack's plea deal. A woman watches him insult the Websters in a prolonged attack. Dee-Dee visits Walcotts and James the receptionist overhears her tell partner Mal Walcott she is there to gather information about Joel.
Part Two: Mal refuses to divulge any information about Joel, saying he left the firm for standard reasons. Once she's gone, he rings someone saying that Dee-Dee has been asking awkward questions. Leanne assures Amy she's trying to get her money back and takes her back on at the bistro. Tracy insists they're still planning to sue the Institute. With the plea hearing over, the Websters see Stefan and the woman having a heated argument in the corridor. Betsy admits to Dylan she feels guilty about Mason and suggests they’re better off as mates. Dylan's gutted. Paul asks Billy to make sure that the kids don't forget him. A furious Joel confronts Dee-Dee about her digging and threatens to report Ed and Ronnie for insider trading. Abi is annoyed that Stefan is still ruining their lives. The woman from the court approaches and introduces herself as Coral Brent, Stefan's ex-wife, and Corey's mum. Dee-Dee gets a phone call offering information.
Part Three: Abi takes Coral to No.13 to talk. She tells her that she had a breakdown after Seb's murder and admits that her family has torn Abi's life apart. She takes the blame for Stefan and Corey's behaviour and tells her that she's pleased that Stefan's life is in ruins. Dee-Dee's caller is James who hands her Joel's old work mobile and tells her that Joel left the firm under mysterious circumstances. Bernie has the family photo framed. Paul likes it. Lauren calls on Dee-Dee, apologising for lashing out. She breaks down at the thought of losing Frankie. Coral tells Abi that Stefan has no friends, and Corey now refuses to see him. Abi refuses £10,000 from her that won in the divorce settlement but, although grateful, she wishes she would leave them alone. Dee-Dee has to push a reluctant Lisa to have the phone examined. Leanne is shocked when Rowan asks her to check the recording of Amy's upload session for evidence they can use against her in court. Kit approaches Ed and Dee-Dee, wanting to question them about a tip-off he's received about the insider trading.
Part Four: Dee-Dee realises Joel is behind the detailed tip-off. Ed is sorry he's dragged his daughter into his mess. Abi tells Kevin that what Coral's told her has made her realise how many good things she has in her life and she's now fully over Stefan. Dee-Dee has had to be reported to the Solicitor's Regulation Authority and Adam tells her it's best that she steps away from work for now, on full pay. She's hurt. Mason rings Betsy from his detention centre, ordering her to confess or else. Dee-Dee is staggered when Joel calls on her, asking her to take up with him again. She thinks he's delusional and throws him out. Toyah and Nick hear from Amy that Leanne has started to put the frighteners on her. Lisa finds Dee-Dee struggling to cope with the blows. The phone has been given to a mate in forensics, although it could end her career in doing so. They resolve to get Joel.
