Plot[]

Part One: Lisa rings Joel asking him about him acting for Lauren last September. Dee-Dee googles the jewellers where Joel says he bought Maeve's bracelet. Alina calls at No.9 with Dorin. Ruby makes a fuss of her new brother while Hope wants nothing to do with him and goes out with Fiz. As Dee-Dee looks at items worth £300 to match the receipt she found in February, she’s stunned to see a necklace priced at that amount which she thinks is identical to the one that Lauren wore. Daisy’s furious that Ryan would rather spend his night off with Kit instead of her. Tracy boasts about her fabulous life in Spain, but when Cassie points out it can’t be that great or she wouldn’t be back in Weatherfield, Tracy fumes. Roy returns from Scarborough. He confirms that the necklace is like Lauren's and Dee-Dee remembers that Joel supposedly passed a sketch of it to the police, but Lisa has no memory of receiving it. Tracy insists to Steve that she and Tommy are still good. Lauren mentions to a shocked Dee-Dee that she's soon moving to Belfast.

Part Two: Dee-Dee raises the Belfast co-incidence with Joel, but he brushes it away. Tracy admits to Steve that she is spending hours on her own as Tommy is obsessed with his coaching job and she's lonely. Spending the day with Nick, Toyah calls with him at No.8. She’s mortified when she realises Nick has told David about their fling and walks out. Joel is evasive when Dee-Dee questions him about passing on the necklace sketch to Lisa. David counsels Nick to keep his distance from Toyah. Dee-Dee sees Joel driving away and follows him. Alina starts receiving menacing calls and suspects it’s the people traffickers trying to intimidate her. Ruby suggests to Tyrone that the caller might be Hope. Dee-Dee follows Joel to the hospital and sees him and Lauren looking at Frankie. She suddenly realises the connection between them.

Part Three: Dee-Dee cries as she recalls the true significance of all the events over the past year and how Joel has duped her. She manages to cover why she's there when Joel finds her. Once he's apparently left, Dee-Dee questions Lauren about the necklace and forces an admission from her that Joel is Frankie's father. He listens to them talking from outside the incubator room. Lauren admits that Joel was her attacker, and she didn't report it as he told her that no one would believe her over him. Dee-Dee realises that he must have locked Lauren in the flat when she went into labour and suspects that he gave her something to induce the birth. Lauren cries as she remembers the soup he made her. Joel has fled from the scene.

Part Four: At the police station, Kit takes a statement from Joel while Lisa does the same with Lauren after Dee-Dee takes her there. Alina and Dorin leave, and Tyrone confronts a returning Hope as to whether she made the calls. She angrily hands over her phone for him to check. Lisa arrests Joel as he insists that Lauren procured and took illegal abortion pills. Lisa has no option but to also question Lauren under caution. Tyrone apologises to Hope who is angry that he checked her phone records. Fiz is equally as annoyed with him. Nick apologises to Toyah for telling David but admits her how much he is in love with her. She kisses him. Ed comforts a sobbing Dee-Dee after she takes off her engagement ring.
