Plot[]
Part One: Tyrone is annoyed that Fiz didn't tell him earlier about Alina's return and now he's missed her. Dylan receives a parcel and refuses Sean's suggestion that they go out together but denies being scared of Mason. Cassie takes Tyrone's side against Fiz and Evelyn and thinks he ought to investigate further. Max visits Lauren in hospital and invites her to have lunch with him at the bistro. Steve receives a text from Demi asking how he is. Amy is enthusiastic after her first big Institute meeting. Rowan tells Leanne that she’s been selected by Willow to run the new resource centre and he’s fixed up a meeting with a potential investor. Steve tells Cassie that if he was Tyrone he would want to know if he had a son. He leaves her in charge of the switch while he nips out. Tyrone asks Dee-Dee for legal advice and is told he has no rights of access without proof of paternity. Cassie gets a call for a taxi from Alina. She grabs Steve's cab keys.
Part Two: Steve returns to an empty cab office. Having persuaded Dylan to come out, Sean sees his son freeze when he catches sight of Mason going into Speed Daal. Sean bursts into the restaurant, raging at the lad, Stu and Yasmeen. Dylan drags him away. Max and Lauren have settled down in a bistro booth when Joel and Dee-Dee walk in. Lauren tries not to react. Cassie picks up Alina outside the Capstone Hotel. Rowan and Leanne meet Grant to discuss his investment but Rowan leaves Leanne halfway through to discuss matters with their guest. A look passes between the two men before he departs. Cassie drives Alina to the garage. Tyrone is taken aback when he sees the boy. Grant comes on to Leanne, suggesting that he will invest if she reciprocates. Alina walks to the tram station with Tyrone and Cassie in pursuit. She agrees to hear him out and Tyrone becomes emotional as he chats to the child, Dorin.
Part Three: When questioned, Alina admits that the child is Tyrone's. Lauren admits to Max that Nathan isn't Frankie's dad but some random guy instead. Steve and Tim forgive Cassie for taking a cab. She asks Steve if he will go to the County match with her. Over a coffee, Alina tells Tyrone that she returned from Romania after a few months to escape the traffickers and settled in Hastings where Dorin was born. Leanne tells Rowan about Grant and he tries to make her feel guilty that the resource centre is now in jeopardy. He mentions that Amy might be a better option to meet Grant. Alina leaves, saying she'll be back in two weeks for her victim impact statement and will then return to Romania for ever once the traffickers are in jail. Stu convinces Yasmeen that Mason is capable of redemption. Fiz isn't happy to find out that Tyrone has a son and Alina wants him to get to know his dad.
Part Four: Tyrone explains that Alina has now decided to stay in Weatherfield until the end of the trial and he's paying for her to stay at the Chariot Square. Joel visits Lauren at the hospital demanding to know what Max wanted. He's annoyed when she gives him a list of shopping to fetch for her. Amy is interested in making an investment. Ruby and Hope are told about Dorin. A jealous Hope isn't enthusiastic to meet him. Steve and Cassie return from the game. When Tim enquires after Demi, Steve admits he’d forgotten to reply to her. Fiz asks Tyrone what he would do if Alina asked him to be part of Dorin's life and isn't happy when he says he wants to get to know him. Evelyn warns him he may gain a son but lose everyone else.
