Plot[]
Part One: Lauren's unimpressed to learn that it's a bedsit Joel's found for her in Ireland. Joel sends Lauren to the precinct for breakfast. Beth, Betsy and Izzy finish the t-shirt order just before their shift starts. They palm Carla off with flimsy excuses for being in the factory so early. Hope's thrilled when Fiz reveals she's sorting out a holiday in Barmouth for them. Max and Bobby are concerned that Lauren isn't responding to their messages. Paul asks Asha if he'll be allowed to donate his corneas, given his MND. She offers to find out for him. Jack is interviewed at the police station, with Adam as solicitor and Debbie as his responsible adult. Jack says he thought the office was empty. Lauren's bag is stolen at the precinct. Max attends to her but the thief gets away. Kirk accidentally loads the t-shirts onto the delivery van. Joel meets with the mugger, having hired him in exchange for paying his legal fees.
Part Two: Max offers to let Lauren stay at No.8 until she gets back on her feet. She rushes off when she sees Dee-Dee. Fiz decides not to tell Tyrone about Alina until they know for certain that she's coming back. She shares her holiday plans with her husband but he's unenthusiastic. Beth tells Sid that the gear has gone missing. He tells her there's a regular gig in it if she's able to deliver. An uncomfortable Bernie uses the blender at the flower shop flat to drown out talk of Paul donating his organs. Lauren tells Joel she's leaving the flat to stay with Max. He persuades her to stick to the plan. Lisa challenges Jack's assertion with CCTV footage showing activity in the building just before the fire. He's charged with arson with intent to endanger life. Carla pulls a tired Izzy up for producing shoddy work. A customer calls to ask why they've had t-shirts delivered that they didn't order. Joel laces Lauren's soup with the tanstolin. Lauren eats the soup, unaware that she's being poisoned.
Part Three: Joel goes off, supposedly to have a new set of keys cut for the flat. He locks Lauren in. Adam warns the Websters that things aren't looking good for Jack. Kevin assures his son that any judge will see that he's a good kid and tells him he's proud of him for holding it together. Asha finds out that Paul can't donate his organs for transplant because of his MND. She tells him his only option is to leave them for research purposes and he's happy with that. Bernie confesses to Paul that she reacted so badly earlier as she's not ready to think about him not being here. Carla puts the pieces together and accuses Beth, Betsy and Izzy of using her machines to make counterfeit gear. Lauren suffers labour pains in the flat. Her phone stolen, she crawls over to the door only to discover she's locked in.
Part Four: Lauren calls for help. Max arrives, having saved the address on his taxi app. Carla tries to extract a confession by threatening to let the police examine the t-shirts once they have been returned. Beth accuses Carla of not respecting her and walks out of the factory. Paul tells Bernie that he nearly ended his life last week. She's grateful when he confirms that he's going to carry on until the bitter end. Bernie pours the pills down the sink. Beth pins her hopes on getting the t-shirts back and accepting Sid's job offer. The fire brigade break down Lauren's door. Max calls Bobby to let him know after going with Lauren to hospital. Joel listens in from the next booth at the Rovers. Lauren is told that there's no way to stop the baby coming as her water has broken. Tyrone explains to Fiz that the garage is too busy for him to go off on holiday. Hope hears her parents discussing what Jack did and is impressed. Lauren gives birth to a boy. Joel and Dee-Dee visit her, presuming that she's lost the baby. They discover that he's alive and in an incubator.
