Plot[]
Part One: Toyah's having stomach pains but goes in for her shift when she hears that Nick's working from home. Dev advises Bernie to give Gemma and Paul space to show that she can be reasonable. Craig mentions to Beth that he'd love to be back in CID and work with Kit. Steve decides to put the bust in the loft until everything blows over. Cassie's amused that he can't bring himself to destroy it. Nina's run off her feet at the cafe with Shona minding a sick Lily and Roy still hiding in the flat. Toyah keels over in pain at the bistro and goes home to lie down. Billy feels sorry for Bernie as Paul and Gemma arrange to meet Kit again and get to know him better. Bethany receives a company credit card statement from Lazaret. Shona spots a supermarket transaction and suggests it might have been a 'click and collect' and she should phone them in case there's some CCTV footage. Toyah has more stomach pains while she's alone in the flat.
Part Two: Nick returns and escorts Toyah to the hospital. The Gazette has the bust theft on its front page. Tim advises Steve to confess before he's caught. Bethany rings all the supermarkets on the list but no-one will help her because of data protection laws. Beth flirts with Kit and asks him to put a good word in for Craig with the CID. She's amazed when Gemma brags that he's Bernie's son. Nina pleads with Roy to help her downstairs but he insists he's not up to it. Leanne's anxious about her upcoming malware session with the Institute, which Rowan tells her is a test of strength. Amy expresses an interest in signing up to Rowan. David tells Leanne that Toyah's in hospital. She rushes to her sister's side. Beth spreads the word about Bernie's secret son. Steve and Tim, posing as delivery men, leave the bust in a box at the Chariot Square. They're caught by a porter who calls Debbie in. Steve drops the bust on the floor while trying to flee. In front of Leanne and Nick, a doctor tells Toyah that she's pregnant.
Part Three: Toyah's booked in for an ultrasound. Bernie's hurt to find Gemma, Paul, Billy and Kit chatting away in the Rovers. Steve and Tim make out to Debbie that they found the bust on the pavement by the Legion. The men are forced to stay put while she reports its recovery. Leanne asks Toyah who the father is. Unable to tell her the truth, she claims it was a one-night-stand with someone she doesn't know. Bethany's given two weeks to repay her old company or be taken to small claims court. Bernie tries to make the twins understand why she had to give Kit up but her excuses don't wash, with Gemma pointing out that she's managed to raise five children while she only had three. Tommy collects the bust and hears from Debbie how it was "found". It's clear that neither of them believes Steve and Tim but they all go along with the story. Toyah confirms to Nick that the baby is his. She declares that she's keeping it, regardless of his feelings on the matter, as it's her last chance to have a baby.
Part Four: Bernie thinks she can get through to Gemma and Paul if Kit isn't there. Dev feels for her and warns Craig to be careful around Kit. Beth delights in telling her puzzled son who Kit really is. Nick don't know if he can lie to Leanne for the rest of their lives. Nina, Shona and Yasmeen work out a way to force Roy down from the flat. Shona tells Bethany that she's persuaded a pizza shop in Leicester to check his CCTV for when her was supposedly at the establishment. Tommy offers Steve and Tim season tickets for County. Cassie appropriates them as her spoils from helping Steve. Leanne offers to tell the father for Toyah. Toyah tells her not to get involved. Craig hints to Kit that he suspects him of protecting Gemma after she stole from Ruskin & Pugh. Nick confides in David that Toyah's pregnant and it's his.
