Plot[]
Part One: Kevin hands Bethany her pass back and lies to Abi that he was up all night due to stress. Dee-Dee advises Gemma that she can report her landlord to the council for failing to keep up with repairs. Kevin hands Max a phone that he stole from Stefan's office and asks him if he can hack into it. Joel confides in Dee-Dee his sadness at keeping their engagement from his parents. Steve looks up alternative carers, annoying Ken. When Cassie arrives, Steve relishes informing her that her first task is to cut Ken’s toenails. Tyrone opens an email to the garage to find a video of Kevin committing the robbery. The landlord arrives at No.5 with a heating engineer, and also hands over an eviction notice giving Gemma and Chesney two months' notice.
Part Two: Kevin assures Tyrone it is another deepfake video. Enjoying Cassie’s company, Ken suggests they go out for a spot of lunch. Dee-Dee advises Gemma and Chesney that the eviction notice is legal. They haven't a clue what to do next. Bethany catches Max with the phone and realises that Kevin stole it. She tells Kevin not to drag her family into his situation. As Joseph is dropped home by his school friend's posh mum, Chesney’s gutted to realise his son has made out he runs a successful catering empire. A police detective visits Toyah to inform her she will face no charges for burying her baby. She feels like a weight has been lifted. Chesney tells Joseph not to end up a loser like him. The boy is upset at his words. Stefan tells Kevin that his video footage could land him in jail. Kevin points out that if Stefan was innocent, he would have called the police already so he must have something to hide. Meanwhile Abi is shocked when she overhears Tyrone telling Craig that Kevin has also been the victim of a deepfake video.
Part Three: Stefan tells Kevin that the police need a warrant to open the phone and if he returns it, he will delete the footage of him stealing it. Ed advises Dee-Dee to contact Joel's parents and tell them about the engagement to garner their respect. Joel spots a saddened Sabrina outside the police station and learns her brother has been arrested. He hands her his business card and tells her to give him a call. As Sabrina’s friend takes her away, Joel smiles to himself. Stefan is shaken when Kevin tells him that the phone is being unlocked. Bernie tells Joseph he should make sure that Chesney knows that he's not ashamed of him. Steve isn't happy when he finds out about Cassie and Ken's lunch. Toyah thanks Leanne for her support and doesn't complain when Leanne prepares to watch another AI Oliver video. Kevin returns to No.13 to find Abi and Craig waiting to discuss the video. Kevin refuses to cooperate, making Abi suspicious.
Part Four: Kevin confesses to Tyrone what really happened and the strange way that Stefan has reacted. Tyrone urges him to come clean with Abi. An amused Amy suggests to Steve that there’s a spark between him and Cassie and he’s in denial about his attraction. Chesney and Joseph come to an understanding and Chesney agrees he ought to invite his friends for a meal. Kevin offers Stefan a deal that he will keep possession of the phone, but not hand it over to the police if Stefan pays the costs of censoring the videos, and thus not damage his own reputation whilst he tries to clear his son's name. Toyah tells Nick it's best if she moves out. Dee-Dee arranges to meet Anthea Deering. Chesney stresses that he can't afford to feed even one of Joseph's mates. Kevin refuses to tell Abi everything when she asks what's really going on and tells her to leave matters alone. She's angry that he's excluding her.
