Plot[]
Part One: Toyah sees Leanne telling someone on her laptop screen that she loves them, but doesn't let on that she's there. Leanne offers to try and talk Rowan out of suing Toyah as long as she stops making accusations. Bethany finally has her mail redirected from London. She's furious to discover someone has been fraudulently using her old company credit card. Yasmeen organises birthday drinks for Stu at the Rovers as he's been in a slump since Eliza left. Tyrone refuses to reinstate Cassie at the garage and suggests she apologises to Abi. Leanne changes the bistro's vegetable supplier to a fellow believer. Nick's unimpressed when they deliver a load of dodgy produce. Toyah lets Nick know what she saw at the flat. He worries that she's having an affair with Rowan. Dee-Dee tells Glenda that she's got a claim on more than just the business. Nick goes to confront Leanne and finds her and Rowan holding hands on the sofa. Leanne tells him it isn't what it looks like and shows him her laptop screen - it's an AI recreation of Oliver that she's been talking to.
Part Two: Leanne explains to Nick how AI Oliver makes her feel like she has her son back. Nick is creeped out and refuses her offer to introduce him. Daisy advises Bethany to obtain copies of the bank statements in a bid to prove that she couldn't have made the purchases. George and Todd woo a potentially lucrative client, Mrs Watling. She's just agreed to pay upfront for a top funeral plan for her husband when Dee-Dee serves George the letter detailing Glenda's claim for half of his business and house. George's grumbles about his lot in life are overheard by the widow. Toyah thinks AI Oliver is sick and accuses Rowan of exploiting Leanne's bereavement. She makes it clear that the institute's injunction won't silence her; it'll be worth going to prison to take him down. Leanne maintains to Nick that there's nothing sinister about AI Oliver, comparing it to writing to a deceased loved one. The police arrest Toyah on suspicion of murder.
Part Three: Cassie apologises to Abi. She admits that she used to fancy Kevin but is over it now. Abi thinks she loves creating drama and refuses to re-employ her. At the police station, Toyah learns that a baby was found buried at North Cross Park, in the same area where she interrupted the sleuths digging for Lauren's body. Toyah confesses to Kit that it was her baby, Rose. She insists that she didn't kill her as she was never alive. Shona admonishes Stu for putting Roscoe with Roy, and nearly costing the cafe owner his life. She refuses to let Stu go upstairs to apologise to Roy in person. Mrs Watling cancels the funeral plan. George calls Glenda Judas for going after his house as well as his business. She sticks to her guns. Leanne asks Rowan if he reported Toyah to the police but he says he didn't. She believes him. Toyah admits to concealing her child's birth and tells Kit that the father was rapist Phil Simmonds. Kit points out that she has a strong motive to want to get rid of the baby.
Part Four: Toyah denies killing Rose in order to punish her for her father's crime. She worries about the story getting in the papers and Phil seeing it. Glenda's betrayal hits George hard as he realises she's using the £22k he paid her off with to fund the legal action. Toyah's released on investigation. A post mortem is carried out on Rose. Bethany seeks Joel's help with her credit card problem. Leanne encourages Toyah to look at what's happened as a positive - the poison is out so she will feel lighter. Toyah's infuriated by her institute mumbo-jumbo and accuses her sister of reporting her to the police to earn brownie points with Rowan. George declares war on Glenda. Glenda confides in Michael that George was their dad's favourite and she was always second fiddle. Michael assures her that she's amazing and pulls her in for a kiss. Leanne denies telling Rowan about Rose. Toyah thinks it's too much of a coincidence that she was arrested right after speaking to him. Nick tells Leanne that she'd better not be lying to them.
