Plot[]
Part One: The Gazette website has taken down the sex video but Abi discovers it's already on porn sites. Sarah changes her surname back to 'Platt'. Simon tells Carla he's leaving Weatherfield. She's happy for him but sad that it means Peter will have less reason to return. Evelyn suggests to Roy that they start a book club while he's in prison, reading the same novels and sharing their opinions over the phone. A hot-tempered Kevin lashes out at Max in the cafe. Daniel's told he's been reinstated at the STC. Dee-Dee hears from the linguistics expert that they can't look at Roy's text messages for another three months. Kevin finds out from Cassie that Abi's gone to meet Dean. Gemma's excited when Joseph arranges to bring his mates from Oakhill over to No.5. Daniel asks Sarah to check in on Bethany when he's called into work, telling her what a hard time she's having. Daisy overhears the conversation. Abi goes for Dean with a wrench when she sees him, demanding he admit to making a sex tape of her.
Part Two: As Dean protests his innocence, Kevin appears and pulls Abi off him. She drops the wrench when he begs her to think of Alfie. Carla admits to Sarah that she misses Peter. Linda takes the kids to the bistro instead, disappointing Gemma. Bernie makes sure that it was Joseph's decision and not something Linda forced on him. The police pick up Dean after Kevin reports him for leaking the sex tape. Abi finds out from Tyrone that four more videos have been put online. Daisy offers herself as a confidante to Bethany. Abi checks the new videos. Spotting a tattoo where she doesn't have one, she realises that they - and the original - are all deepfakes. Glenda organises a car wash fundraiser for Little Big Shotz. Simon shows Carla photos of Peter's yacht. She's shocked to see one of Peter with his arm around a woman. In prison, a new inmate arrives - Griff Reynolds.
Part Three: Abi writes off Dean as a suspect, telling Kevin he's too thick to have pulled it off. Joseph admits to Gemma that his friend's house was so posh that he didn't want his mates to see where he lives. Bethany tells Daisy that she still sees Nathan around every corner. Daisy's sympathetic, comparing it to how Justin made her feel. The women start to get along. Max apologises to Kevin for earlier and offers to do the garage website for free as a sign of goodwill. His comment about how easy it is nowadays to deepfake videos sets Kevin's mind racing. Carla finds out from Ken that Peter's new relationship is serious. She decides to follow Sarah's lead and revert to 'Connor'. Roy smiles and laughs for the first time in ages as he and Evelyn analyse their book. The police release Dean as he was under arrest when the new videos were released so couldn't have uploaded them. An irate Kevin bangs on the door of No.8.
Part Four: In front of David, Kevin accuses Max of creating the deepfakes as revenge for him not giving him Max the garage website job. Abi follows in Kevin's wake and pulls her husband back, pointing out that Max doesn't have any reason to target her. Dee-Dee tells Roy about the text messages and that the linguistics expert has agreed to make his case a priority after she put the pressure on. Carla offers Daisy her old job back as the Rovers is understaffed. She accepts. Abi's furious with Kevin for shooting his mouth off as the more people that know about the videos, the more people will see them. Glenda gets Gemma to hand out flyers for Little Big Shotz to Joseph's mates so that their rich parents donate. Abi fears the videos will be online forever as the police can't take them down. Cassie tells Kevin that Abi should be grateful that he defended her. Daniel's taken aback to find Daisy and Bethany having a movie marathon. Dee-Dee assures Nina and Evelyn that they have a strong case. In his cell, Griff produces a glass blade.
