Plot[]

Part One: Kevin tells Abi he's going to suck it up and pay for the new website. Abi hears a report about the prison documentary on the radio. She's furious that Corey is going to be on TV and more so when Kevin admits he knew and didn't tell her. Sarah tells David that Nathan is leaving town. David wonders how she can be so sure, and why Bethany isn't returning her calls. Abi's insistent on watching the documentary. Bernie tells Dev that it would have been Zodiac's 31st birthday today. Paul goes into hospital to have his feeding tube fitted. A hungover Simon remembers little about the previous day. He assures Nick and Toyah that he isn't slipping back into old habits. Bernie finds her car being towed away for being one day late on her MOT. She has to go down to the police station to get it back, missing Paul's operation. Seeing Kit drive past, Bernie's convinced that he shopped her. Rowan offers to pass a message onto Leanne at the retreat if it's emergency. Nick's annoyed that he needs permission to speak to his fiancée. Abi seethes with rage as she watches Corey's teammates call him their star player and a role model.

Part Two: Abi tells Nina about the documentary. She's equally irate and wonders why Abi's permission wasn't sought before it was made. Steve texts Demi apologising for being an idiot. Maria asks Gary why their bank account is £10,000 down. He lies that he had to pay for a new heating system before Carla would buy the factory from him. Dee-Dee tells Abi and Nina that the programme makers didn't need Abi's approval. She reminds them that being popular won't get Corey out of prison but the women refuse to let the matter drop. Demi meets Steve at the Rovers. He says sorry for going overboard with the photos and assures her it wasn't for Tracy's benefit. Demi agrees to give him another chance but when he starts going on about his wife again, she dumps him again. Rowan tells Simon he knows what it's like to drift through life without direction. Bernie has to pay £320 to get her car released. Kevin wishes he'd been upfront with Abi. At the station, Bernie accuses Kit of picking on her. She's stunned when his colleagues emerge with a cake and wish him a happy birthday - his 31st. Abi and Nina head over to Plaza Twelve Productions and confront the producer of the documentary, Jasmine Readman.

Part Three: Abi accuses Jasmine of glamourising criminals in the name of entertainment. She demands she cancel the show immediately but Jasmine tells her she can't as it was delivered to the commissioner weeks ago. Abi's incensed but leaves peacefully. Kit admits to Bernie that he is her son. He reminds her that they arranged to meet ten years ago but she never turned up; now, he's moved on and wants nothing to do with her. Rowan suggests to Simon that he joins Leanne at the retreat and offers to cover the costs. Bernie explains to Kit that she always wanted him but couldn't afford to raise three children. Gratified to have found him alive, she tells Kit that she'll be there if he changes his mind. Simon decides to take up Rowan's offer. Bernie joins Paul and Billy after the operation. Craig questions Abi about the incident at the TV station after Jasmine reports her for threatening behaviour. Abi denies making any threats. She gets riled up and dares Craig to arrest her.

Part Four: Kevin calms the waters and explains to Craig why Abi was at the TV station. Maria asks Sarah about the factory's heating system. Sarah cottons on and corroborates Gary's story, setting Maria's mind at ease. Nina gets in touch with the Gazette and arranges an interview with Abi. Abi agrees as long as it's on camera and posted on the website unedited so they can't twist her words. Bernie regrets looking for Zodiac. David's sure that Sarah is up to something and threatens to ask Bethany or Maria in order to extract a confession from her. When she admits that Gary helped her pay Nathan off, he considers telling Maria. Steve decides to celebrate his 50th birthday at the local football exhibition at the Chariot Square. He sours on idea when Tim tells him that the bust of Tommy Orpington is being unveiled there. Nick doesn't want Simon going to the retreat but knows that he can't stop him. Abi records her video message for the article, saying how awful it is seeing Corey try to rewrite history. Cradling a framed picture of Seb, she tells the viewers what Corey did to her son and asks them to spare a thought for Seb when watching.
