Plot[]
Part One: Paul, Billy, Bernie and Gemma pull all-nighters for the karaoke-thon. Bernie rallies the others to keep going as they yearn for their beds. Bethany crashes at Sarah's. Sarah believes her when she says she saw Nathan. George tells Todd he'll have to sell up if Glenda gets half of the business. Glenda sees Dee-Dee about contesting Archie's will. Dee-Dee cautions her against it and encourages her to come to an agreement with George. Bethany's infuriated as Daniel keeps insisting that her mind is playing tricks on her. Maria tells Liam that Gary went out with his old army mates so as not to add to his stress levels. Liam agrees to see a counsellor when she assures him they can afford it. Toyah worries when she sees Leanne knocking back pills at the bistro. Glenda tells George she'd settle for 45% of the business. He refuses. Bethany scrutinises the reconstruction video and spots Nathan in the crowd, confirming that he was really there.
Part Two: Bethany assumes that Nathan is up to his old tricks and groomed Lauren and Ellie Benton. Maria isn't sure she did the right thing by chucking Gary out when Liam needs stability. Gemma's surprised to catch Bernie ironing when she never does any housework. DS Swain confirms to Bethany that Nathan was released on licence months ago. She says the letter informing Bethany went to her London address. Bethany demands they question Nathan about his presence at the reconstruction but the police have nothing to connect him to the case. Nick discovers that a £200 standing order has come off his and Leanne's joint account. Daniel apologises to Bethany for not believing her and they make up. Bethany decides to find the evidence of Nathan's guilt herself. George is furious to find a 'For Sale' sign outside the undertakers. Bethany finds out that Nathan works at a building site by looking up the company logo on his jacket. Heading there with Daniel, Bethany comes face-to-face with her former abuser.
Part Three: Bethany demands to know what Nathan's done with Lauren. He says he doesn't know what she's talking about. Bethany and Daniel discover he's working under a false name. When he looks at his phone, Bethany seizes the opportunity to grab it and run off. George lays into Glenda, saying she's a liability. Bernie's upset that she couldn't give her children a better start in life. Gemma assures her she's been a great mum. Leanne tells Nick that the £200 was for her 'supplements'. He discovers it's just multi-vitamins but she says she's already feeling the difference. Bethany gets what she can from Nathan's phone before the SIM card locks. Glenda's in tears after her row with George. She tells Michael that George was right but Michael encourages her not to give up on her dreams. George rings the estate agent and finds out that the undertakers isn't up for sale; Glenda only put the sign up to scare him. Maria can't face telling Liam that Gary's moved out. They discover the lad has already worked it out himself. Bethany tells Swain that Nathan was subscribed to Lauren's Ovidz account and presents his phone as proof.
Part Four: Swain informs Bethany that Nathan has already informed the police; he's told them he's never had any direct contact with Lauren, and given an alibi for the time of her disappearance. Paul's thrilled to learn that the fundraiser raised enough for the MND group to rent a venue for six months. Daniel and Adam confront Nathan at the building site and threaten to spread it around that he's a sex offender unless he leaves town. Liam doesn't understand why Gary is moving out if he and Maria aren't splitting up. As they reassure him, Maria decides she wants her family under one roof and asks Gary to stay. He agrees. Daniel promises Bethany that Nathan will be gone by the end of the week. She's furious to hear about his intervention as they need him close by in order to prove he killed Lauren. George apologises profusely to Glenda for what he said earlier. He finds her more determined than ever to fight for what's hers. Toyah suggests to Leanne that her 'medication' are placebos and she's being scammed. Leanne accuses her sister of being closed-minded. Bernie waits until she's alone before voggling 'Christopher Green'. Bethany uses the info from Nathan's phone to log into his Ovidz account. There, she sees an exchange with what appears to be a young girl.
