Plot[]
Part One: Kirk helps Sean and Dylan move out of No.11 in the Underworld van and offers to drop Dylan and Liam at school. Maria takes a deep breath and agrees, grateful when Dylan promises to keep an eye on her son. Alya accepts Rich's job offer. Stu takes Eliza to visit Bridget for the last time before she leaves for Germany. Yasmeen admits to Alya that Eliza was the glue that held her and Stu together and she doesn't know where they'll be now. In the prison, Roy refuses his breakfast or to leave his cell. Nina hopes that she can bring her uncle out of himself when she visits him. Gary and Maria overhear Mary telling Eileen that Sean's flat is devoid of much furniture. Yasmeen bolsters Alya's self-esteem when she wonders if she did the right thing in joining Fabian's. Adam and Dee-Dee struggle without Alya to organise them. Joel calls on Dee-Dee to check up on her and offers to take her for a no-strings drink. DS Swain gives a shaken Bobby a grilling and reminds him that perverting the course of justice is a serious offence and carries a custodial sentence.
Part Two: Bobby calls in on Underworld and tells an appalled Carla how, under pressure, he made out to Swain that the intruder in Lauren's flat was wearing a balaclava and a dark coat with a fur-trimmed hood. Rich takes Alya for lunch, congratulating her on such a successful morning and tells her that she's exactly what Fabian's needs. Roy agrees to Nina visiting him, pleasing Evelyn, Carla and Cassie. Bobby blurts out to them about the details of his new statement. An angry Adam receives an email from his biggest client informing him that they're transferring their work to Fabian's. Cassie tells Evelyn and Nina that not long after Lauren's disappearance, she remembers seeing a coat in the charity shop fitting the description Bobby gave. Kirk and Mary help Sean with moving his last consignment of his belongings. Eliza tells Sam and Hope how much she'll miss them. Stu tells Yasmeen that he really wants to make things work between them, but it's up to her to think about what she really wants. Evelyn and Cassie return from the shop and tell Nina that the coat has gone but there were some other clothes that came in with it and one of the jumpers has a name tag which they've given to the police. As a result. Swain asks Daniel to come to the station for questioning.
Part Three: Daniel is formally interviewed with Kim Wallis as his solicitor. After admitting he handed in such a coat, he tells Swain about his tutoring sessions with Lauren and his payment of her GCSEs. Nina arrives in the prison's visiting room. Dee-Dee points out to Adam that Alya poaching clients doesn't contravene her old contract with them. Sean is touched when Maria and Gary offer him any item of furniture from the shop for his flat. Swain asks Daniel about his tutoring of Bethany and Summer, and when he last saw Lauren. Nina is told that Roy still refuses to leave his cell. Adam calls on Alya and accuses her disloyalty. She gives him as good as she gets. Released, Daniel regrets his kindness towards Lauren. Carla finds out about his ordeal.
Part Four: Carla is left a voicemail by Swain saying she wants to see her. She tells Bobby that he's messing things up and the police need to know the truth. Joel calls to collect Dee-Dee and is distracted by a phone call. Adam is in a foul mood over Alya and Dee-Dee tells him straight that he's the one who messed up and it's not Alya's fault. Stu and Eliza make their departure. Yasmeen tells Stu he's welcome to stay when he gets back. Joel opens up to Dee-Dee and reveals that Emily has been in touch and she'd like him to meet Maeve, his daughter, but he's terrified how to be a dad. She assures him he'll be fine. Liam and Gary deliver an old bureau to Sean's flat. Nina reports back to Carla and Bobby that her uncle has shut down. Swain takes Carla in for questioning. Adam apologises to Alya for undervaluing her and invites her back. She tells her gran she won't be returning and rings Rich with the names of more old clients he can poach. Carla comes home, saying she's stuck to Bobby's story as getting Roy out is their only priority.
