Plot[]
Part One: Rita wins tickets to a show and an overnight stay at a posh hotel. She invites Jenny along. Paul practices using his voice apparatus while he can still talk. Daisy books a trip to the Lakes with Ryan as it's a year since the acid attack. Jenny agrees to go out with Rita, even though she's meant to be hosting the speed dating night. She gets Glenda to stand in for her. Chesney and Gemma are told that Joseph passed the Oakhill entrance exam but he'll have to be interviewed by an admissions officer before he's formally accepted. A cleaning frenzy ensues as the interview is tomorrow at No.5 and the house is a tip. Steve goes along to the speed dating event, hoping for better luck than yesterday. Izzy, Alya and Cassie also participate. Sarah meets Damon at Highfield Prison and tells him she'll be there for him when he gets out. He tells her he doesn't want her to and they're finished.
Part Two: Steve and Tracy are unimpressed to find themselves sitting opposite each other at the Rovers. Glenda coaxes Christina into joining in when she takes a fancy to a man with a tattoo, Connor. Izzy enjoys giving a different explanation for her disability to every man she meets, while Adam annoys Alya by gatecrashing in order to talk shop. Steve fails to strike a chord with anyone. Glenda complains to Connor about how she's been left on her own at the pub. She confiscates Paul's tablet as a joke when he predicts that no one there will get a proper date. Sarah feels stupid for chasing a dream with Damon. Bethany comforts her. As the speed dating event winds up, Steve tries his luck with Cassie. She tells him she was just being nice as she felt sorry for him. Chesney and Gemma pull an all-nighter to get No.5 fit to be seen. After locking up the Rovers, Glenda comes downstairs to find masked burglars raiding the pub. They order her to get down on the floor and, terrified, she does as she's told.
Part Three: Glenda calls the police after the robbers have gone. Jenny returns in the morning to the news that the Rovers has been raided. Steve thinks he made a bad impression with the women as Tracy put him off. Amy tries to cheer her dad up by arranging lunch at the bistro. Glenda tells Jenny how scared she was that she was going to get battered. The admissions officer, Dawn, arrives at No.5. The Winter-Browns try to make a good impression but their efforts are hampered by Gemma putting on a fake posh accent and the freezer continually dispensing ice cubes. Sarah asks Adam if they can put the sale of the flat on hold for now. He agrees, but when he suggests they could be friends again she tells him they can't. Glenda can't get the robbery out of her head. She suddenly remembers that the man she saw had the same tattoo as Connor. In their enthusiasm, Chesney and Gemma barely let Joseph get a word in and have to be told off. Glenda tells Jenny that Connor robbed the Rovers and it's her fault as she told him she was on her own.
Part Four: Daisy returns from the Lakes. Jenny doesn't blame Glenda for the raid and tells Daisy they owe her. Gemma thinks the interview went badly but Dawn approves Joseph. Carla tells the Rovers staff how much she admires them for sticking with the pub after they all went through a traumatic ordeal there. Jenny and Daisy are wracked with guilt. Harry asks Sarah when Damon is coming back. She tells him he isn't. Glenda has to tell Paul that the robbers took his tablet. He's forgiving but she feels terrible about it. Tommy calls at the flower shop for Tracy while Steve is minding the closed premises. Thinking Tracy is blanking him, Tommy says he's leaving on Wednesday and puts a letter through the letterbox for her. Steve takes it. With the pub closed, Glenda offers Jenny and Daisy a nightcap, but as she heads through to the bar, she relives the awful events of the night before and it's clear they're taking their toll.
