Plot[]
Part One: Sarah calls into the solicitors to discuss her divorce papers with Adam. With it also being their fourth wedding anniversary, neither of them is happy with what they're doing. Maria is still watching Liam's every move. Fiz and Tyrone are due home from their holiday in Italy with the future sleeping arrangements still not sorted out. Steve throws out all his County collection, determined that the team is now losing his support after 35 years. In the Rovers, Daisy and Ryan kiss passionately whilst Jenny looks on disapprovingly. Gary and Maria take Liam for a milkshake in the cafe, but when grinning Mason enters, Maria flies at him and Gary has to restrain her. Having signed the divorce papers for Sarah, Adam deletes Harvey’s appeal document and places the USB of the CCTV footage, tagged with "The murder of Natasha Blakeman", in a jiffy bag and leaves the office with it.
Part Two: Bobby has a stack of missing posters about Lauren. He introduces himself to Ryan when he calls at Underworld hoping for some work, but Carla explains that they’re fully staffed. When Ryan reveals that he and Daisy are now an item, Carla’s horrified. Mrs Crawshaw tells Gary and Maria that she is gathering evidence to get Mason expelled. In the corridor, Liam watches as Mason bullies another boy. Evelyn and Cassie agree that No.9 is going to be overcrowded and each suggest the other moves out. An angry Harvey calls Adam aware that the police now have the CCTV footage and tells him he's a dead man. Tim tries to help Steve decide which team will now get his support. Carla confronts Daisy about Ryan, asking what her game is this time. Adam calls at Sarah’s flat and tells her he doesn’t want a divorce; he still loves her and wants them to try again. Fiz and Tyrone arrive home to find Evelyn and Cassie in the middle of a row. Fiz and Cassie meet for the first time. A shocked Sarah stalks out of the flat. Seeing her mum upset, Bethany heads over just as a car accelerates towards them. Adam is run over as he pushes Bethany out of the way.
Part Three: Bethany rings an ambulance and runs to find Daniel as Sarah sobs. Daisy assures Carla that she won't hurt Ryan again. Alerted by Bethany, Daisy rings Daniel just as he spots the ambulance himself. Sarah goes with Adam to the hospital. Maria decides to send Liam to another school. Abi brings Ken to the hospital where the doctor tells Adam's relatives that he has a broken arm, as well as two ribs and concussion but is doing well. Evelyn and Cassie lie to Fiz that everything has been harmonious in her absence, but Hope blurts out the truth. PC Carson interviews Adam about the incident but he denies all knowledge. The police have a witness that the car was driven deliberately at him, Sarah and Bethany, and the attacker might try again.
Part Four: Maria finds two schools but one is two bus rides away and the other is rougher than Weatherfield High. Bethany realises that Sarah is having second thoughts about Adam. She admits she doesn't know what she wants to do. Tommy is amazed to hear that Steve has dropped County. Steve reveals he knows about the Spanish job and that he'll enjoy telling Tracy where to go when she comes crawling back. Liam confides in Jake how he saw Mason picking on another boy at school. Jake reckons he should report him, but Liam’s adamant he doesn’t want to get involved. Daisy offers Ryan a job at the Rovers. Cassie overhears as Fiz points out to Tyrone that there isn’t room for all of them at No.9 and he’ll have to choose between his nan and his mum. Sarah suggests to Adam they put a brake on the divorce but is taken aback when he tells her that she was the target, and she needs to leave Weatherfield. Jenny objects to Ryan being taken on. Daisy kisses him in front of Daniel and Bethany. Jake tells a shocked Maria and Gary about Mason's knife. Hearing the full story from Adam, an appalled Sarah walks out on him.
