Plot[]
Part One: With Rita due back from Cartmel, Jenny plans a belated birthday party for her at the Rovers. The sight of the Newton & Ridley draymen stocking the pub again adds to the sense of occasion. Dylan promises to give the names of the bullies to Mrs Crawshaw but a threatening text from Mason reminds him of the risk he's taking. Daisy's walking on air after her moment with Daniel and thinks he feels the same when he asks her to mind Bertie. A family liaison officer tells Nick and Leanne that someone has confessed to Natasha's murder and Harvey is lodging an appeal. Alya decides that Dee-Dee needs a girls' night out to take her mind off Joel. Ken and Amy are disgusted when Tracy tells them she slept with Tommy. Steve announces he's moving out of No.1. Bethany is notified that her Chit-Chat article has dropped online.
Part Two: Tim makes Tommy move his van from the front of the house so that Steve doesn't see it. Daisy tells Glenda that she's sure Daniel will soon get back with her. At the bistro, Alya and Toyah drink to singlehood but Dee-Dee struggles to paint on a smile. Ken and Audrey bring the birthday girl to the Rovers for her party. Rita is touched and thanks everyone for remembering. Damon tells Nick and Leanne that Harvey will have put the confessor up to it. They don't know how they're going to tell Sam. With Sean by his side, Dylan shows Mrs Crawshaw the texts on his phone. However, when she asks him who's behind the accounts persecuting Liam, he falls silent. Steve asks Tim if he can stay at No.4. He's incensed when he hears Tommy's voice coming from inside the house. Mary reads Bethany's Chit-Chat article on her phone and accidentally airdrops it to everyone in the pub while sharing it with Glenda. Jenny sees it and shows Daisy.
Part Three: Steve barges into No.4 to have a go at Tommy. Tim backs up his mate and fires the decorator. There's a tussle between Tim and Tommy and a tin of paint spills over the kitchen floor, to Sally's horror. Dylan tells Mrs Crawshaw that there weren't any other bullies; it was all him. She suspends him. Daisy reads the article and easily recognises her own life story, despite the players' names being changed. She thinks Bethany used Daniel as a source as it mentions the catfishing and Ryan using steroids, which weren't public knowledge. Dee-Dee heads home when Alya and Toyah try to set her up with a bloke. Daisy feels violated by the article and confronts Bethany. Bethany tells her the magazine sensationalised it but Daisy's unforgiving and sticks the boot in that she's only good enough for Chit-Chat. Damon can't get the fall guy's name out of Harvey. Steve confesses to Tim that he still loves Tracy. Rita's depressed at her party with everyone talking about old age. Daniel finds Daisy at Victoria Gardens and realises she's seen the article. Daisy makes him admit that he knew about it and accuses him of being Bethany's source.
Part Four: Daniel insists that Bethany wouldn't use information he told her in confidence. She tells him to wake up. Nick and Leanne can't help worrying about Harvey's appeal, even though it seems unlikely to succeed. Bethany denies using Daniel for information for article. Sean's furious with Dylan for protecting Mason and makes him hand over his phone and laptop, restricting access to school hours only. Nick breaks the news about Harvey's appeal to Sam. Sam takes it well as he has faith in the justice system. Adam feels guilty when Leanne tells him that it'll destroy Sam if Harvey wins. Glenda tells Jenny that Daisy had wanted a reconciliation with Daniel. Ken doesn't like that Steve is having to find somewhere else to live and tells Tracy that as she's the one who wrecked the marriage, she should move out. Daisy is devastated that Daniel helped Bethany stab her in the back and feels like a fool for wanting to get back with him.
