Plot[]
Part One: Liam announces to Maria and Gary that he's not going to school anymore. Amy's annoyed when Steve takes his lack of a Valentine's card from Tracy on the chin. Gary wants to force a confession out of Dylan but Maria insists they try Mrs Crawshaw again. Carla warns Bobby that Lauren comes with baggage. Benno has accepted Billy's apology and withdrawn the assault complaint. Paul sorts out a physio appointment at the medical centre for Billy. Mrs Crawshaw tells Maria and Gary that Liam has been allocated a pastoral care officer but says that unless they have proof he's being bullied, there's nothing she can do. Simon promises Leanne, Nick and Toyah that he'll control his drinking. Leanne is proud of him while Nick is less optimistic.
Part Two: Simon advises Bobby to buy Lauren flowers to impress her. Tommy starts decorating Preston's Petals. Leanne wonders if Nick knows how much she loves him as she's been so consumed with Simon lately. Toyah admits that Nick had planned to propose last night. Maria tells George and Eileen about her need for proof of the bullying. Eileen advises her to check Liam's SendPX account. Bobby hands Lauren a small bunch of flowers but is upstaged when a delivery man enters with a huge posh bouquet. Billy feels better after seeing the physio. He and Paul urge Summer to reconsider the USA offer. She agrees to think about it. Maria can't access Liam's SendPX account as it's set to private. Tommy tells Tracy she had no right to warn Toyah off. Amy walks in as they're arguing and demands to know what's going on. Bobby feels he can't compete with Lauren's ex and tells Lauren he's welcome to her. Maria creates a profile on SendPX and sends Liam a follow request, posing as a teenage girl. Liam accepts and, as she scrolls through the comments, her face becomes ashen.
Part Three: Maria confesses her duplicity to Liam and asks him who left the hurtful comments. Liam accuses her of catfishing him and storms off to his room. Tracy makes out that Tommy decorated the room the wrong colour. Amy is taken in. Gary tells Sean about the vicious comments and attributes them to Dylan but Sean defends his son. Dylan overhears the row and texts Mason to alert him. Maria consoles Liam, relating her own trolling ordeal and assuring him that it won't be forever. She persuades him to give the bullies' names to Mrs Crawshaw. Simon offers to move out if he's causing Leanne and Nick problems. Leanne tells him not to worry about it. Lauren assures Bobby that she isn't seeing anyone. Maria and Gary put Liam before Mrs Crawshaw to present his proof but they discover all the hateful messages have been deleted from his phone.
Part Four: Liam again denies he's being bullied and dismisses the comments as banter. Gary interrupts dinner at No.11 demanding to see Dylan's phone to see what he's been saying to Liam. Sean intervenes and refuses to oblige him. Leanne shocks Nick by going down on one knee at the bistro. He agrees to marry her. Bobby tells Lauren how impressed he is that she's turned her life around. She kisses him. Sean catches George looking at Dylan's phone when the lad leaves it unattended. George asks what Dylan has to hide if he's innocent but Sean angrily snatches the set back. David notices that Nick doesn't seem overjoyed about his engagement. Nick admits that he nearly said no due to what happened with Simon. Maria thinks she's failed Liam as a mother. Lauren receives a visitor at her flat but isn't pleased to see them. Liam receives a message saying he's dead if he speaks to Mrs Crawshaw. Utterly bereft, the lad opens his laptop and searches for ways to end his own life.
