Plot[]
Part One: Simon tells Leanne that Carla's taken Bobby on at the factory in favour of him. Ed finds out from Dee-Dee that Michael's told James about his gambling debts and the fire. He doesn't blame his family for hating him. Leanne tells Nick that they're taking Simon on at the bistro, even if they have to fire someone. Nick reluctantly agrees. Bethany asks Daniel to put him in touch with someone at the Gazette, making out that it's for a friend. Damon tells Sarah he has to leave his digs next week. Tommy arrives at No.1 to finish the bedroom. Tracy gives him a ticking off over his timekeeping but when he compliments her on her work outfit, she's thrilled.
Part Two: Craig informs Michael that a report has determined that faulty extension cables caused the fire at the yard. Bethany checks her bank balance and finds she's £600 overdrawn. Toyah fancies Tommy and pumps Mary for information about the footballer. Jenny tells off a grumpy Daisy for her aggressive pint pulling in the Rovers. Simon tells Carla he's no longer joining Peter on the boat, but makes out it's his decision. Mary suggests that Tracy matchmake Tommy and Toyah. Sarah tells Gail that her relationship with Damon is getting serious. Simon starts at the bistro. Leanne's already covering for him when he skives off to drink with Bobby. Bethany asks Daniel's contact Suki Waters if she can put any work her way. Suki suggests she try Chit-Chat magazine but Bethany thinks it's beneath her. Toyah flirts with Tommy outside No.1 and gets his number. Tracy puts her off by claiming that Tommy's a terrible womaniser and she only hired him because Steve made her. Sarah lends Bethany the money to clear her overdraft. Tracy and Tommy get up close and personal when Tommy repairs a cupboard door at No.1. The sexual tension sizzling, they suddenly kiss passionately.
Part Three: Tommy has second thoughts about carrying on with a married woman. They can't resist each other and head upstairs, agreeing upfront that it's a one-off. David accepts Damon's offer of friendship. Craig tells Ed he's in the clear over the fire and apologises for pre-judging him. Simon plans a lock-in at the bistro with Bobby after closing time. Daisy reminds Jenny that they're equal partners and she's not her skivvy. Jenny says that if that's so, she should do things without being asked. Tommy packs up his van after having sex with Tracy. Bethany's intrigued when Beth drops hints about Daisy catfishing Ryan. Tim accosts Tommy as he's about to get in the van and begs him to come for a drink with him. Tommy goes reluctantly. Bethany calls Suki back and asks for the contact from Chit-Chat, saying she has a story for them.
Part Four: Michael puts Aggie and James right about the fire and tells Ed how sorry he is for blaming him. Ed says he was right to think the worst after everything he's done. He promises to try and earn his trust again. Sally, Kevin, Beth and Kirk join Tim and Tommy at the Rovers. Tommy's embarrassed when the men sing football songs and take pictures with him. Sarah invites Damon to move in with her. He agrees. Tim's thrilled when Sally hires Tommy to do up their bedroom. Ed hopes that his exoneration will make it easier for Aggie to forgive him for everything else. Dee-Dee realises that no good would come of telling anyone what really happened. She reminds Ed that he got lucky, and it's up to him to accept the lifeline thrown at him. Simon and Bobby have a private party at the bistro. Tommy tells Tracy he's decorating at No.4. They agree to stay out of each other's way to avoid temptation.
