Plot[]

Part One: The doctor confirms that Joseph has Lyme disease but should make a full recovery. Lauren tells Max and Sabrina that she's dumped her boyfriend. Maria refuses to let Liam have any more time off school. She sees him onto the bus to make sure he goes in but is concerned when Dylan blanks him. Dev picks Bernie up as she's released from prison. Paul takes up Billy's suggestion of throwing her a welcome home party at the Rovers. Liam's mortified when Maria shows up at the school gates to give him his phone. Mason records them on his own phone and uses the video to make fun of "mummy's boy" Liam. Joseph wakes up in hospital. Damon apologises to Adam for yesterday's "mix-up". Adam assures him it's forgotten. Mason tells Dylan that Liam is going to pay for grassing him up.

Part Two: Lauren is dressed to the nines as she meets Max, Sabrina and Gav for lunch at the bistro. Daniel senses that something's not right with her and puts a comforting hand on her shoulder, which Max sees. Caitlin Edwards tells Gemma that social services are dropping the investigation against her in light of Joseph's diagnosis and she can move back to No.5. Gemma thinks it's too little, too late. Bernie's touched by her surprise party and gives Billy a kiss for giving up his job to look after Paul. Mason grabs Liam's phone and tells him to beg for it back. Liam does it but Mason keeps the phone. Lauren spikes her soft drinks at the bistro with vodka, much to her companions' disapproval. Joseph tells his parents that he'd rather move into the flower shop flat with Gemma than go back to how things were, as he said over and over again that he wasn't well but she was the only one who believed him. Adam pays Harvey's hitman to scare Damon off. After the man leaves, he has another panic attack. Mason pins Liam against a wall and threatens him for being a snitch. In desperation, Liam sets off the fire alarm.

Part Three: As the school is evacuated, Mason shops Liam to Mrs Crawshaw. Sarah bumps into Adam after his attack but he rejects her offer of help. Gemma is still mad with Chesney but pleads his case to Joseph as she wants her family back under one roof. Bernie is furious to hear that Linda tried to set Chesney up with a custody solicitor. She tells her she'll have her to answer to if she pulls any more stunts. Linda has to leave No.5 as Bernie moves back in. Maria is informed that Liam set the school fire alarm off. Toyah realises that Lauren is drunk when she gets up to dance. Liam tells Maria he hit the fire alarm accidentally while mucking about with mates. She doesn't believe him and gets him to finally admit he's being bullied.

Part Four: Liam refuses to name the bullies but says it isn't Mason or Dylan. He asks Maria and Gary not to take action as it'll make things worse for him. Paul appreciates Billy trying to cram as much joy in his life while he can. Gemma tells Joseph that Chesney cares about him and just made a mistake. She says she grew up without a dad and she doesn't want that for him. Toyah kicks Max and his group out of the bistro but doesn't report Lauren's drinking to Nick. Harvey tells Adam he'll sort out Damon when he sorts out his appeal. Jake receives a message from Mason on his PlayStation 4 telling Liam to meet him tomorrow. Max asks Lauren if her ex is Daniel. She says it isn't. Gemma makes it clear to Chesney that although she's moving back in, she hasn't forgiven him and doesn't know if she ever will. Maria decides to speak to Liam's teachers. Having planned to ignore Mason, Liam changes his mind and decides to see him.
