Plot[]
Part One: Sarah wants everyone to know that she and Damon are a couple. Joseph again complains of a temperature but a disbelieving Chesney sends him to school. Sabrina refuses to let Max cut her hair for his apprenticeship so he asks Lauren. Dev finds out from Aadi's landlord that the carbon monoxide leak came from next door. He refuses to let his son go back there and insists he's moving back into No.7. Asha tells Aadi that she and Nina have split up. Cassie tells Evelyn that she's donated Terry's money to a dog charity. Evelyn's persuaded that she was thinking of the dogs and not herself. Damon visits Harvey at Highfield Prison. where Harvey denies ordering the car-crushing. Damon tells his brother that he'll leave there in a box if he comes near him again. Dee-Dee hears the exchange as she visits an ex-client at another table. Gemma's concerned that no one is taking Joseph's illness seriously. Damon goes for Harvey when he makes a veiled threat to Sarah and Harry. He has to be manhandled away.
Part Two: Tyrone tells Evelyn that Fiz is planning an Italian holiday. She encourages him to go with her but he refuses to leave the girls with Cassie for a fortnight. Roy offers a homeless Nina her old room at the cafe flat. Dee-Dee tells Adam what she saw at the prison. Max does a good job with Lauren's hair. Lauren accepts Max and Sabrina's invitation to tea at No.8. Sarah shows Damon off to Gail and Audrey at the bistro. They make no effort to hide their contempt for him. Adam interrupts to demand that Damon is kept away from Harry for the boy's safety. Sarah refuses to let him control her life and reminds him that Harry isn't his son. Nick escorts Adam off the premises. Gemma asks Dr Gaddas for advice about Joseph in the cafe. Chesney walks in and is furious that Gemma is still pursuing the subject. Asha helps Aadi pack his things at the precinct flat. When he finds the bracelet on the floor, Asha is forced to admit that she called round when he was passed out and didn't help him. Adam calls the prison and makes an appointment to visit his client, Harvey. Harvey attacks one of his fellow prisoners.
Part Three: Sarah tells the Platts that she's with Damon now, whether they like it or not. Aadi accuses Asha of leaving him to die. She's troubled by her failure to notice that he was ill and decides to withdraw from her paramedic course. Roy is about to tell Evelyn that she has to leave the cafe flat when Evelyn herself says she's moving back into No.9. David assures Adam that Sarah's family all agree with him about Damon. Lauren arrives at No.8 and says that her boyfriend couldn't make it as he's working. Sabrina assures Gav that she isn't a racist. A triumphant Evelyn reveals to Cassie that Terry has been charged with animal cruelty and breeding a dog without a licence. Aadi tells Amy about Asha leaving him to his fate. Amy defends Asha, pointing out that she wasn't thinking straight. Linda arrives at No.5. Adam sees Harvey and suggests they join forces against their mutual enemy.
Part Four: Adam offers to help Harvey with his appeal if he arranges to have Damon scared away. Harvey's interested when he implies that he'd be willing to break the law. Evelyn arranges Tyrone's holiday with Fiz and Kevin and convinces her grandson that the girls will be safe with her and Cassie. Paul makes out to Linda that Gemma is staying with him to help him with his MND but she isn't fooled and gets the truth out of Chesney. Nina collects her things from No.7. Asha doesn't try to stop her. Aadi encourages Asha to stick with her course as he knows how much it matters to her. Sarah assures Adam that he'll always be Harry's dad. Lauren rushes off after getting a text from her boyfriend. Max and Sabrina admit to each other that they suspect Lauren's "boyfriend" is made up. Linda is concerned that Gemma is an unfit mother and tells Chesney she'll support him financially if he goes for sole custody. He refuses to entertain the idea. Harvey calls Adam and agrees to assist him, but adds that once he does, he owes him.
