Plot[]
Part One: Ed sleeps rough at the precinct. Yasmeen arranges a lunch at Speed Daal with Roy and Evelyn to cheer Stu up after the difficult time he's had. Jenny and Daisy celebrate when their bid for the Rovers is accepted. Reeling from yesterday's revelations, Michael refuses to bail Ed out and declares that he's dead to him. Carla despairs when a van pulls up outside the flat containing all of Bobby's belongings, including his trumpet. Joel confesses that he knew Ed was gambling but didn't say anything as he didn't feel it was his place. Ronnie also admits to knowing and turning a blind eye. A furious Dee-Dee throws Ronnie out and finishes with Joel, saying she'll sort out the mess on her own.
Part Two: Daisy's full of ideas on how to revamp the Rovers to make it profitable. The residents are disappointed that the pub isn't re-opening until after New Year. Todd helps Moses carry the bags up to the flat when he sees him returning from a shopping trip with Paul. Dom returns Stu's call and says he wants nothing to do with Eliza. Stu confesses to Yasmeen that he used a private investigator to find out about Dom's secret family and paid him £10,000 to stay away. Simon returns home and is bemused when Carla introduces him to his "cousin". He tells Bobby he can have his room as he's leaving to stay with Leanne anyway. The Baileys agree to hear Ed out, over Michael's objections. Yasmeen tells Stu he had no right to pay Dom off. He assures her he regrets it and is trying to put things right. Ronnie defends his brother, saying everyone makes mistakes. He changes his tune when Ed tearfully admits that he's emptied the EdiRon account and lost it all at the casino.
Part Three: Ed makes excuses, saying it was a desperate attempt to win back what he's lost. Ronnie's furious that he's put them on the brink of bankruptcy but Ed counters that they only had the money to begin with because of his insider trading scam. Ronnie's forced to explain what he means to the family. Todd's clearly smitten as he chats with Moses. Stu's annoyed when Yasmeen insists that their lunch go ahead, only to leave him with Evelyn when he spills a glass of water over her and Roy. Dee-Dee thinks Ronnie's actions are worse than Ed's and accuses him of whetting her dad's appetite for gambling. Carla is sad to see Simon move out and tells him he's welcome back anytime. Daisy's touched when Daniel presents her with a picture Bertie drew of them all together and offers to let her carry on seeing Bertie if she wants. He suggests that the old Daisy wouldn't have let some paperwork stop her from opening the Rovers for New Year's Eve. Ronnie apologises to Ed for leading him down a dark path, but insists that everything else is on him. Dee-Dee arrives at the police station to report Ronnie for his crime.
Part Four: Dee-Dee can't bring herself to shop her uncle. Bumping into Joel, she makes up with him and tells him about the insider trading. He agrees to keep it to himself. Carla finds Bobby cadging free drinks off the staff at the Chariot Square after she sent him out to buy chips. She makes it clear that if they're going to get along, he'll need to buck his ideas up. Paul suggests to Todd that he ask Moses out. Daisy reveals to Jenny that she's spoken to Waterford and they've agreed that they can reopen the pub for New Year. Jenny's delighted. Dee-Dee lays out a plan of action to Ed, including selling the yard and flat, but keeping on the house in Gable Street as it's in Aggie's name. He's grateful that she's standing by him and promises that he won't gamble any more.
