Plot[]
Part One: Daniel is excited about what he and Daisy could do with the Rovers, but she is still full of her own concerns about committing to him. Stu lies to Yasmeen that he is seeing his advisor at the bank to sort out his finances. Jenny is thrilled when Daisy breaks the news to her about the pub. Tyrone and Cassie are amused when Hope goes out of her way to be nice and helpful. Audrey threatens to make Maria sole manager of the salon to stop David plaguing her with his advice to throw away Stephen’s diary. Jenny's excitement is cut short when her stepdaughter points out that from now on she will be the one calling the shots. Evelyn admits to a rare show of guilt that Tyrone was punched by Terry due to her actions. Ken is also pleased when Daisy tells him about the Rovers and mentions in passing to her about Daniel’s idea that she adopts Bertie. Over lunch in the bistro, Stu quizzes a shocked Dom about his life in Germany. The penny drops for Ryan when Daniel makes throwaway comment about the gym job. He tells Daisy he thinks Daniel knows about them.
Part Two: Ryan tells Daisy that Daniel must have sabotaged the gym job, explaining to her about the video that Simon found. Daisy tries to convince herself that Ryan's overthinking things. Terry calls at the garage and, handing Tyrone his contact details, orders him to return the dog by 6.00pm otherwise he'll regret it. Stu tells a rattled Dom to go to Germany and leave Eliza alone. Daisy asks Daniel about the adoption plan, saying he should have discussed it with her first. Jenny logs onto Stephen’s laptop looking over her list of suppliers, and telling Rita that she still intends to be in charge at the pub. Adam brings round the adoption papers for Daisy to sign but she’s reluctant to comply. Stu offers Dom £10,000 in cash to stay out of Eliza's life. Guilt gets the better of Daisy and she admits to Daniel about sleeping with Ryan.
Part Three: Daniel doesn't admit to already knowing about the revelation. She tries to convince him that the fling was an unimportant one-off. Yasmeen is delighted when Eliza gives her and Stu tickets to her school's carol concert. Stu and Dom have a talk in front of them replete with double meanings about Stu’s offer. Daisy tells Daniel she’s going to make things up to him, but he is annoyed to realise that she thinks he’s been painting her into the corner with the pub and adoption plans. Tyrone’s rattled, knowing Roy took the dog to the rescue centre. Evelyn realises they have no choice but to return her to Terry. David is intrigued that he might have been mentioned in Stephen’s journal. Tyrone changes his mind and reports Terry to the police. Evelyn's concerned what revenge he’ll exact. Daisy realises from Daniel’s word and manner that he already knew about her fling and he loses his temper, admitting to spiking Ryan’s gym job.
Part Four: Daniel and Daisy exchange harsh words and he orders her to get out of the flat. Ken and Adam find out from a shattered Daniel about Daisy and Ryan. Adam tells him to move on while Ken suggests she be given another chance. David studies Stephen’s journal and is taken aback to discover that Gail was initially unsure who Sarah's father was. Shona disagrees that Sarah ought to know. The police inform Tyrone that Terry has been taken in for questioning. Evelyn fears that she’ll be in trouble for stealing the dog. Dom spins a yarn to Stu, Yasmeen and Eliza that he’s been offered work in Hamburg and Eliza can’t go with him. Seeing that he's genuine in wanting to connect with his German family, Stu makes Dom take the cash as they make arrangements for Eliza to move back into No.6. Daisy moves into Rita’s flat, overwhelmed with guilt. Daniel feels alone in the builder’s flat.
