Plot[]
Part One: Hope and Ruby fuss over the dog and announced that they've named her Taylor, after Taylor Swift. The girls and Evelyn pressure Tyrone to keep the dog but he only agrees to a week's stay. Ryan insists to a dubious Carla that he is really up for the move to Glasgow. Daisy is still having trouble getting a job. Daniel tells her to meet him at lunch as he has a surprise. Tyrone insists that Hope takes out her nose stud before she goes to school. Terry corners Evelyn in the precinct but she denies knowing anything about his dog. Craig returns Stephen's personal affects to Audrey. She is upset as she looks over them with David. Yasmeen congratulates Stu for selfless with Eliza and for hiding his disappointment about her not being around for Christmas. Evelyn is horrified to find Cassie taking Taylor for a walk and bundles them back into the house. Unbeknown to them, Terry watches from down the street.
Part Two: Evelyn refuses Tyrone's request that Taylor is taken to a rescue shelter. Lesley Milner tells Stu that in 2020 Dom was done for dangerous driving in Germany with a woman and a child in the car who may be Dom's. Daniel tells a pleased Ken that he's going to ask Daisy to officially adopt Bertie. Yasmeen catches Stu with Lesley in the bistro and mistakes her for Stu's support worker. To their discomfort, she joins their table. Roy refuses to have Taylor in his flat so Evelyn asks him to take her to a rescue centre. Craig tells Audrey and David that Stephen transferred his stolen money through many international accounts and they don't have the resources to trace it. Tyrone takes his temper out on Cassie when Hope is sent home from school for coming in with the nose stud. Having gained permission from Waterfords, Daniel shows Daisy into the empty Rovers and suggests they buy it rather than a flat in Redbank Apartments. Evelyn turns up for her shift with the corner shop, unaware that Terry has followed her there. Flipping the sign to "closed" he bolts the door and menacingly advances on her demanded to know what she's done with his dog.
Part Three: Dev returns and tries to gain entry as Terry clamps his hand over her mouth. Daisy shows no enthusiasm at the idea. Evelyn manages to escape Terry's grasp and cries for help. As a passing Gary kicks the door in, Terry escapes through the back. He goes past the garage and punches Tyrone to the ground, but Ken sees him and yells that he's calling the police. Daisy tells a frustrated Daniel that she can't see his suggestion working. Stu is relieved when Lesley makes her excuses and leaves. Audrey asks Jenny if there's anything she'd like from Stephen's belongings. She takes his laptop, explaining that she used to borrow it from time to time. Daisy is unhappy when Ryan tells her that he's going to Glasgow. Tyrone covers from Dev the true reason for his and Evelyn's run-in with Terry and tells his gran not to get in trouble with the police by admitting to dog-napping. She thinks his stance is just going to make things worse.
Part Four: Daisy fails to get an admission from Ryan that he wants to stay in Weatherfield. Tyrone gives a statement to Craig but lies that Terry was just a shoplifter. Stu asks Eliza questions about Stu's time in Germany, making Yasmeen wonder what he's fishing for. Tyrone makes a deal with Hope that she has a nose ring in return for full school attendance and six months of good behaviour. He admits to Cassie that Hope won't be able to keep to her part of the bargain. David suggests Audrey should throw Stephen's journal in the bin, but she won't hear of it, adamant that he wasn't all bad. Evelyn hides the extent of her fears about Terry from Roy. Lesley gets a copy of the child's birth certificate showing that Ben Everett is Dom's son and also that Dom himself is trying to build bridges with his family in Germany, pending a possible move back there. Making a plan himself, Stu invites Dom for a meal tomorrow. Daisy strings Daniel along, saying she might be interested in his Rovers' idea. Tyrone insists that by saying nothing to the police Terry will leave them alone, but Evelyn and Cassie are unconvinced.
