Plot[]
Part One: Carla returns from a fruitless business trip to Spain to find Peter, Ryan and Simon living in squalor. Dylan gets an idea about where to host Mason's party when he hears George talk about what an eyesore the boarded-up Rovers is. Daisy tries to appear enthusiastic as Daniel witters on about their house move. Ken bumps into Peter as he's donating some old jumpers to the charity shop and is concerned by his son's evasiveness. Dylan, Mason, Conch and Leyla break into the Rovers and start a booze-up. Realising that Dylan fancies Leyla, Mason bets Conch £20 that he'll cop off with her. Paul prepares for a Personal Independence Payment (PIP) assessment. Izzy advises him not to sugarcoat how much he relies on others. Carla returns to the factory and is bewildered to find Michael still working there. Sarah sticks up for him, arguing that they owe him because of Nippersnapper. Carla receives a worrying phone call from Ken.
Part Two: Dylan and Leyla decamp to the back room as Mason turns on the jukebox. Ken reveals to Carla that Peter had a wobble while she was away. She says she'd be able to tell if he was drinking again. Jenny urges Daisy to think carefully about what she wants before she signs anything. Sarah seemingly scuppers a deal with potential client Katy when she lets slip that the infamous Stephen Reid was her uncle. Carla takes charge and shows her Michael's new designs to save the day. Stu tells Roy he's called off the private investigator at Yasmeen's request. Leyla kisses Dylan and gets him to lead her upstairs. Daisy resigns from the bistro but tells Ryan it's not because of him. Carla seals the deal with Katy and calls all hands on deck. Sarah offers the staff retrospective overtime to meet the order. Sean and George investigate when they hear music coming from the Rovers. Carla realises that a bottle of whisky she bought is missing from the flat.
Part Three: Ryan is shocked to receive a voice message from Crystal telling him she's watched his livestream and owes him an apology. Peter returns home to an interrogation from Carla. He can't explain the missing whisky but admits he's found recent weeks more of a struggle than he let on. Sean and George are unimpressed to find the teens drinking at the Rovers. Dylan and Leyla come downstairs and a mortified Dylan makes a run for it when he sees his dad. Paul tells the PIP assessor that he needs Billy's help to do most household tasks. Simon reveals that he gave the whisky to his mate as a last-minute birthday present. He lets slip to Carla that Peter's been seeing a lot of Toyah lately. Stu puts Lesley back on the case when she tells him that Dom spent two nights in a German jail six years ago for a public order offence. Peter admits to Carla that he always feels he's boring her when he talks about battling his demons. He tells her that the police aren't investigating him any more but it doesn't change the fact that he killed a man, and he can't sleep at night.
Part Four: Carla's sympathetic but refuses to apologise for prioritising the factory when it's going under. Crystal visits Ryan at the bistro and suggests they go for a drink. Ryan's non-committal. Dylan tells Mason that Sean and George turned up before he got anywhere with Leyla. Mason makes him cough up the £20 he owes Conch. Joseph is upset that Paul can't play games with him anymore. Peter feels better for talking to Carla and thanks Toyah for being a friend. Sean takes Dylan to task for bunking off school and warns him that he'll end up like him if he doesn't buck his ideas up. Dylan walks out when he yells at him. Carla confides in Sarah that she believed Peter had taken the whisky. She admits she doesn't know if she has the energy to get Peter through this.
