Plot[]
Part One: Lauren hears Ryan asking Steve about flats to rent and offers him her spare room. Asha's had enough of Courtney's bathroom-hogging at No.7. Aadi assures his sister that they'll be out of her hair before long. Ryan thanks Carla for all she's done for him and tells her it's time for him to stand on his own two feet. Stephen suggests a holiday in Thailand to Jenny. She tells him she wouldn't get the time off so soon after Paris. Ange Carlisle from Stalwart Cabs calls at the garage and reveals that she's looking for someone to service her fleet. Kevin despairs when Cassie makes a crack about Abi being in prison. The Waterford manager tells Rovers staff that the pub is being closed for an extensive refurbishment and their contracts are being terminated with immediate effect.
Part Two: Jenny and the staff demand redundancy. They're told that they aren't entitled to any as all of them besides Jenny are on zero-hour contracts. Courtney chivvies Aadi into looking for a flat by suggesting that he can't live without his dad. Ryan checks out the precinct flat and agrees to move in with Lauren. The Waterford manager tells the Rovers staff that they can reapply for their jobs when the pub re-opens if they're interested. He tells them there will be a deputy manager position going, to work under a regional manager. A listening Adam helps Jenny out by going through her contract to see if she has grounds to sue for unfair dismissal. Bernie suggests Shelly's old flat to Aadi. Modelling his wedding suit at No.5, Paul tells Bernie and Gemma that he intends to walk down the aisle and asks if they'll steady him. They agree. Daniel is helping Ryan carry his things into the flat when some lads call Ryan Freddy Kreuger. Ryan turns on them in a rage and Daniel has to intervene. As Daniel picks up Ryan's things, he notices the vials of steroids. DS Swain tells Jenny and Stephen that Teddy never returned to Canada after his initial visit looking for Leo. Stephen's asked about a phone call he supposedly received from Teddy in Canada on 20th January.
Part Three: Stephen explains that Teddy said he was in Canada and he took his word for it. Covering his tracks, he says the call came from an unknown number. Daniel tells Ryan he saw the steroids. He expresses his concerns about what they're doing to his body but nevertheless agrees to keep his secret. Picking up her car, Ange reveals that she's a trustee of a charity helping people with criminal records get back into work, and approves of Kevin employing Abi. Adam admits to Jenny that Waterford would win if she took them to court. As it's their last day of trading, the staff decide to drink the pub dry. Aadi's unimpressed to find Courtney has bought herself some jewellery. He asks if she has family they can stay with; she tells him her parents died in a car crash when she was two and she was raised by her now-dead grandparents. She agrees to cut her spending so they can afford a flat and she can prove that she doesn't need Darren.
Part Four: Ryan's embarrassed to discover that Lauren knows he's on Ovidz. She agrees to respect his privacy as long as he doesn't stream while she's at home. The Rovers staff get back at their new employers by putting all drinks on the house. Ken and Rita have their last drinks there, wondering what will take its place after the refurb. Aadi and Courtney look around Shelly's flat and agree to take it, though they'll need to produce a deposit and two months' rent upfront. Jenny packs up her belongings. Rita tells her she's welcome to move back into her flat. Jenny's preoccupied with the likelihood that Teddy murdered Leo and did a runner. Lauren questions Ryan about his sexuality, noting that he's mostly stripping off for men. He tells her he's straight. The regulars make the most of the free drinks. The staff get drunk with them. A mournful Jenny jokes to Stephen that they should go to Thailand and not come back.
